Both incidents remain potent symbols to antigovernment extremist groups.

Not sure how you are making the connection to accusations. Plenty of speculation regarding the date but no actual finger pointing. What exactly did you see that gave you the impression that the press was leveling accusations? Please don't get the wrong impression here. If you saw something of this nature then it needs to be called out and condemned. I will stand shoulder to shoulder with you if the press actually did as you are alleging. Thank you for the links to the speculation. Pretty close to the bone but no outright finger pointing and blame. Makes sense that this would upset those on the right but since it was only speculation it doesn't merit an apology. It would be nice if it did but it isn't apparent on either side of the partisan spectrum.

The U.S. Government and MSM never maid any claims. There was some speculation about all possibilities and profilers were interviewed--but no one ever said this is absolutely another McVeigh.

More and more this seems like a person who was cracking just below the surface and some stressor event set them off.

People break bad for a number of reasons, but when it happens this quickly, there's something else going on.

You're welcome. That article and more speculative ones like them caused and abundance of threads to be started here on this forum and others. Check Democratic Underground, rife with speculation it was because of Tax Day and Patriots day—“obviously committed by some right wing crazy.” Some on the MSM commented between themselves on talk shows too.
