1) Wasn't the first thread enough?
2) You are aware that Democrats are in power, right?
3) Classes don't exist.

So Democrats take power, and the "middle class" disappears, but it's because Republicans have a minority in power.

Are you guys even trying anymore?

NEW PAID ADS: DCCC Launches First ?Battleground: Middle Class? Ad Against Republicans? Budget - NationalJournal.com

The "Battleground: Middle Class"* project will reach voters through paid advertising, efforts to connect them to their representatives, a new websitethat houses information about the damaging Republican budget, and field efforts in their neighborhoods and at their homes.

House Republicans' new budget was unveiled Tuesday, and highlights include: raising taxes on middle class families, ending the Medicare guarantee for seniors and turning Medicare into a voucher program, and costing our economy 1.1 million jobs next year alone - all while heaping tax breaks on corporations that ship jobs overseas.

"The defining issue in the midterm election will be who's got your back. With this budget, Republicans are turning their backs on the middle class in order to stack the deck for the special interests," Chairman Israel said. "Our country is strongest when the middle class is strong, but this budget costs jobs, holds our economy back, ignores our crumbling infrastructure, ends the Medicare guarantee, raises costs on seniors - all to reward the special interests - is a recipe for decline."

I'm sorry - you were saying?

^^^^Ah.....you may not know this.....but the Congress must pass a budget. Not the House. Second, the President can veto any bill the Congress sends to him.

This ad must be aimed at your typical low I.Q. low information Democrat voter. The rest of America will know it's bullshit.

So the Republicans really are doing everything they can to build a strong middle class? Whew! I was frightened for a minute there. Bless you all. This is wonderful news.

Or - you know. Would be if you weren't ever-so full of shit.

It's interesting that Chairman Israel mentions crumbling infrastucture. I recall Obama touting a $800B "stimulus" bill that would've helped our infrastructure. So what Israel is saying is that it was a failure (which is was), but it's the Republicans' fault.

The middle class has been declining for years, because you chumps keep voting for Republicans. 2008 was really bad for the middle class. Of course corporate America jumped from $50 Trillion in cash to >$100 Trillion. (2008-2014)

So you have an article with a chart showing Canada has caught up but the US still leads just about every other industrialized nation, and conclude that the US middle class is no longer prosperous? You either reading comprehension, critical thinking skills, or both.
