Republicans--are you this intimidated by the thought of the 1st WOMAN President?

If Donald Trump is looking in his rearview mirror, he will see Carly Fiorina gaining on him.

The former Hewlett Packard CEO has had several good weeks, and our political experts now have her in third place in the GOP 2016 power rankings. In the second week of our rankings, our panel has Fiorina moving up from sixth place to third, while FloridaSen. Marco Rubio drops from third to the sixth-place spot she vacated.

What has changed since last week?

“More awareness of stronger candidates like Carly Fiorina,” said talk-show host and former presidential candidate Herman Cain. “She’s moved up and rightly so.”

Deb Lucia, a Kansas Tea Party activist, agreed. “Biggest winner this week is Fiorina,” she said. “The CNN debate controversy put her in the spotlight and many people took a look at her for the first time and liked what they saw.”

While the rest of our field largely held their positions this week, the next couple of weeks are likely to have a significant impact on the standings. For example, Emory University professor Andra Gillespie said,”Looking ahead, it will be interesting to see ifMike Huckabee can generate any additional support in the polls as a result of the earned media he is getting for supporting Kim Davis in Kentucky.” Davis is the Kentucky county clerk who went to jail rather than issuing marriage licenses to gay couples. Huckabee stood beside her as she walked out of jail Tuesday.

And the second GOP debate is Sept. 16, which could seal the fate of some of the lower-tier candidates. “Is there a rank lower than 17?” asks former Democratic congressman Dan Maffei. He notes that Jeb Bush is benefiting from the fact that none of the other candidates with political experience has managed to generate a lot of enthusiasm.

...what I have heard her say.

and what has she aid hat would keep you from voting for her??
Her wordy speech when she called 'Islam the greatest civilization in the world' for one. Dos she know that much about history? It makes me wonder if she would think Islam was so great if she was on the actual receiving end of how the majority of Islam treats its women? How about her statement, 'What you make of yourself is your gift to God', Muhammad had that same idea as he slaughtered and built his cult. Her own words tells she has no clue that what gifts God are (to us). If I have anything great in the way of accomplishments I could never take the credit for what God has allowed me to see or do. Building myself up would not be a gift to God when God created me, what should I say I make God what He is? If she is so unaware of such things as this and at what was going on right under her nose at Hewlett Packard do you think she is really capable of heading up a whole country? I think at this point in politics anyone not pressing the congressional races for their party and future preferences on how they want to be rule over is making a huge mistake.

She didn't say that. A little reading never hurt anyone. You guys are picking up on a lot of left wing talking points and advertising them. If you would do your own homework, others wouldn't have to do it for you.

Let's Address Carly Fiorina's Comments About Islam Right After 9/11 - Chicks on the Right
If this is not her quote you may want to tell her to have wiki fix that, 'What you make of yourself is your gift to God'. I've also hear her in radio interviews.

Carly Fiorina isnt qualified to run a car wash. Hillary Clinton is qualifed to run a chain gang, as long as she's part of it.
So Rabbi, when you due back in Bethlehem?

Well you've got a big mouth--so why don't you tell us who you think is QUALIFIED? i hope you're not going to reference "community organizers."

Do you really want someone's first government job to be President of the United States?

If they're qualified--I sure do. Carly Fiorina has a lot of experience, and I sincerely believe she is qualified to be POTUS and a lot more qualified than many others that are sharing the 1st stage with her.

Obviously a CEO of one of America's biggest corporations with 150K employees when she was there, shows she has major executive experience. What other candidate in this race ever had 150,000 employees?

We have several nominees on the stage that are just yes, no, present votes for legislation that comes up every now and then. Many of them don't have any executive experience. And we know how important executive experience is--just by having a Jr. Senator--"community organizer" in the oval office, and he's been a disaster. Obama knew government though. Some of them can put on a good dog and pony show during a filibuster--but what else do they really do? Not much.

She has the highest security clearance of any civilian.

She knows foreign leaders personally, in fact better than any other GOP candidate on the stage, with the exception of Hillary Clinton. Her knowledge of terrorist leaders is unmatched by any other candidate, and the proof of that is just listening to her. She makes Donald Trump look like a Bozo in this area.
Trump stymped on terror questions but Carly knows the answers cold

You know if you're just stuck on hiring the same old typical politicians, like we have for the last 100 years--then don't complain when nothing gets done. They're very accustomed to making a lot of promises, campaigning on those promises, and then they go AWOL after they're elected. We've all seen this.

If you want someone that is completely HONEST and tells it like it is, without all the BS spin--then support Carly Fiorina. The best thing about Carly Fiorina is the FACT that she's never worked a day in her life in a government job.

If you want Government to run like a business--that watches spending--budgets--efficiency--then the best person to have in the oval office is a BUSINESS person, who understands not only the U.S economy but the Global economy and one that knows a whole lot about everything else too.

No other GOP candidate matches or even comes close to Carly Fiorina's experience and knowledge. None of them do.

Nonsense. The 4 governors (Hush, Perry, Christie, & Kasich) all had comparable numbers of employees. Plus they (with possible exception of Kasich) have experience in dealing with natural disasters. Perry sucked at it but he at least has the experience. Did Carly ever have to manage during actual life and death crises?

Executive experience is overrated when converting private sector experience to public service. The rules are different and the goals are other worldly.

That isn't to say that she's unqualified. But she is far from the most qualified in the GOP field. To suggest otherwise is foolish. She would be an interesting choice for Commerce.

After spending a lot of time on national political boards, including this one--plus social media outlets. Some of the comments I have been reading--(including comments from women who are honest enough to say that they're not certain if they're ready for the first woman President) I remind them that if they're turning their backs on the most qualified candidate that is running (Carly Fiorina) that they may get their 1st woman President in Hillary Clinton anyway.

We see Republicans bouncing all around the 15 male candidates like they're on pogo sticks, while ignoring the most qualified candidate in this race, Carly Fiorina. 15 male candidates--(the first time in history this many have entered a Presidential race) to go after ONE woman. The debate stages resembles more of a beauty contest than a political debate Why? Because they're scared to death. Not necessarily because it's Hillary Clinton, but obviously more so--because she is a woman. They would have never entered this many into this race if the DNC popular was a male candidate.

Carly Fiorina is the most brilliant, the most articulate in this race. She can answer any question, she can slice and dice. She handles the left wing media like play dough in her hands. She has been referred to by Charles Krautghammer as "Reaganesk" who also stated she one the 1st debate. She could wipe clean Hillary Clinton in any debate. She wins conservative, independents and cross-over Democrats. IOW she could win it all. Yet yet she is put on IGNORE by all the pogo stick jumpers.

You know if the Republican Party can give us the 1st President that abolished 150 years of slavery in this country, they can sure as dam well give us the 1st woman President. Why would we want Democrats to hold that title?

Carly Fiorina is the only candidate in this race, that has been asked repeatedly if she would accept a Vice Presidential position. Here is her reply to that.

We should run carli vs hillary and see who's message is more popular with the American voters. I think Hillary's message will win.

Obviously since she has so many victories behind her....

Oh wait; she's never won anything. Oh wait, she's been pretty much unemployed since she was ousted at HP. Oh wait, she had one of the largest gaffes in recent memory of Presidential politics.:

"Well, I don't think John McCain could run a major corporation,

Interestingly enough, she was working for the McCain campaign in 2008 when she made that comment:

I'm not saying she isn't sharp. I am saying that politics is a profession where there are no days off, the camera never blinks, and your decisions have a direct impact on person's lives; a lot of times they are unintended consequences.

There is little evidence to suggest she will be adequate much less exceptional as the CEO of the nation.

Nobody even knows what the hell Hillary's message is. She might as well run on Hope and Change. The only ideas I've heard from her so far is spend more money and bigger government. I think we've had about enough of that already.

You're certainly not going to even try to compare Hillary Clinton to Carly Fiorina are you?-LOL

Do you really want me to start in on Bengazi and emails?

Carly Fiorina (in the private sector) became the CEO of one of America's largest corporations, and she managed 150,000 employees. She got Hewlett Packard through the worst tech sector crash EVER, where in the month of November 2000 alone, 3 TRILLION dollars rushed out of the tech sector market. Every tech company was forced to lay off thousands of employees, and many of them did not survive.

HILLARY CLINTON DOESN'T COME CLOSE TO THAT, NOR DOES ANY OTHER CANDIDATE IN THIS RACE.

Hewlett Packard is thriving today. One of the board members that voted to fire her, is now endorsing her for POTUS, citing that because of the decisions she made that (they didn't like back then) Hewlett Packard has exploded in new growth markets.
Ex-HP board member who voted to fire Fiorina endorses her

Carly Fiorina explains it herself:

Carly Fiorina is the best candidate the GOP has had since Ronald Reagan. No one matches her experience or knowledge. She is the Iron Lady of our times.

Yeah, Hillary is her superior in every way.

Do you really want me to start in on Bengazi and emails?
Go ahead. You guys have been trying to pin crap on Ms. Clinton for 25 years. Never laid a glove on her.

Again, that is a false statement.

Clinton managed 30,000+ employees as Secretary of State, has won elections before, and has been in the public eye for a quarter of a century. Four of the GOP governors have managed their states during the same economic downturns.... And dealt with actual emergencies.

I'm not sure why you're trying to paint her as anything other than what she is; a smart, successful woman who would be, likely, a great cabinet secretary. Saying she is more qualified for President than her competitors is silly; saying she is more qualified than Hillary Clinton is flat out stupid.

In fact, Carly would be rather underwhelming.

I have no problem with a woman president but we need a woman that can do the job.

And that ain't Hildebeast.

Carly Fiorina Zings Chris Wallace: Ask Me About Being VP When You Ask Everyone Else (Video) - The Gateway Pundit
We should run carli vs hillary and see who's message is more popular with the American voters. I think Hillary's message will win.

That may happen, but I am certain that Carly Fiorina would be the very last person Hillary Clinton would want to debate. Hillary Clinton wouldn't stand a chance debating Carly Fiorina.

McCain adviser Fiorina: Palin not ready to run a corporation - CNN.com

I'm not saying she isn't sharp. I am saying that politics is a profession where there are no days off, the camera never blinks, and your decisions have a direct impact on person's lives; a lot of times they are unintended consequences.

There is little evidence to suggest she will be adequate much less exceptional as the CEO of the nation.

You're an emotional wreck dude, sit down, have a glass of water and get a hold of yourself.

I have no problem with a woman president but we need a woman that can do the job.

And that ain't Hildebeast.
Her husband did a great job for 8 years. What we don't need is another Bush and I don't think you can tell me the difference between Bush and any of the GOP candidates running today, can you?

Well Hillary Clinton isn't Bill Clinton.

No matter how hard she tries to make everyone think she would be a good POTUS the only suckers buying that little jewel are those who would vote for her if she were Jack the Ripper.

Conservatives don't like Obama because he is an incompetent, confused, stupid, extreme Left Wing piece of shit. Has nothing to do with his race.

Conservatives don't like Hillary Clinton because she is an incompetent, stupid, dishonest, corrupt piece of Left Wing shit.

Has nothing to do with gender
