Dirty tricks and politics go hand and hand because the people allow it. I don't approve of how they went about this, but I'm glad they killed the law. The optimal minimum wage is the wage the market is willing to pay and the pay employees are willing to accept for the work performed. Government interference only distorts the market and Michigan's economy has been in the shitter for decades. The last thing they need is the government artificially raising the cost of labor.
