Notice how when you hit reply it didn’t copy the thread it just bumped you for a new post

You have to hit Quote Harry Dresden to copy the thread

Trying to quote specific text by copying it doesn't seem to work reliably either. I sometimes have to try to copy it several times before the quote function shows up.

I tried again just now in this thread and it seems to be working better, in that instance.

Use the "Quote Whoever" button think it's a fix for that nested quote problem.

I wish it did just quote the person you're replying to. But it's the same as before, making a big ole quote chain, doesn't it?

We did change it. Hoping that the @ mention will be used more so we don't have gigantic threads with 30 nested quotes slowing things down for no reason.

Is there a way to have threads I am no longer watching, no longer show up when I use the menu option to show posts I have contributed to?

On my screen in order to reply i must first click 'quote elchorizo' or like click quote whoever the poster is and then the post reply button becomea visible.

Anyhow....this whole format has sucked from day one.

The software isn't set up to supported nested quotes. So because so many of you want that, we have to apply hacks to make it work. This, unfortunately, has the downside of affecting other areas. It is unfortunate that we can't make the system perfect for everyone. We do as best we can, so I appreciate your kindness and feedback.
