Remembering Is So Very Important

Then, wonder about the magical appearance of the China Virus, and the people who would not allow anyone to blame China for its appearance, and how it turned an election:

Does a booming economy make Trump unbeatable?

Over a decade since the Great Recession, the U.S. economy seems to be on a roll: Wage growth is relatively high, inflation is low, unemployment is really low, and the stock market is booming. Despite President Trump's impeachment — not to mention his erratic, bullying, bigoted behavior — could the economy nonetheless hand him a second term in 2020?

It's definitely a possibility. In fact, a number of observers who run models of elections are already predicting Trump will take home the win

Yale University professor Ray Fair, Oxford Economics Ltd., and Moody's Analytics Inc. are all outfits that run election prediction models, for instance. They don't rely solely on the economy. But factors like GDP growth trends, inflation, and the unemployment rate play big roles in their projections. Bloomberg spoke to all three recently, and they were all predicting re-election for the White House's current occupant. "The election is Trump's to lose," Mark Zandi, the chief economist at Moody's Analytics, bluntly put it. "Trump wins if the economy and his approval rating are about the same a year from now as today, and turnout is typical." Moody's has accurately called every election over the last two decades except for 2016. Oxford got 16 of the last 18 elections right.......

How Trump is on track for a 2020 landslide

Economic models point to a Trump blowout in 2020. But a faltering economy or giant scandal could change everything......

......if the election were held today, he’d likely ride to a second term in a huge landslide, according to multiple economic models with strong track records of picking presidential winners and losses. Credit a strong U.S. economy featuring low unemployment, rising wages and low gas prices — along with the historic advantage held by incumbent presidents.

And while we are remembering, remember this, from 2018, under Trump, unemployment falling to 3.7 percent — the lowest rate in nearly 50 years. Any president would have soared to re-election on golden wings with such a feather in the cap.

"........unemployment falling to 3.7 percent .....Any president would have soared to re-election on golden wings with such a feather in the cap."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Current unemployment rate in the U.S., latest figures (August 2022) = 3.7%.
Under Joseph Biden, by the way.

Current unemployment rate in the U.S., latest figures (August 2022) = 3.7%.

Those are the jobs that Trump created and democrats destroyed with their fascist lockdowns and that are now slowly crawling back.
You do not get credit for jobs returning that you destroyed in the first place you stupid piece of shit.
God you're a dumbfuck.

Please repeat. I forgot the topic :stir:

The topic is that everyone was absolutely sure Trump would win. The numbers would have guaranteed any other candidate in history smooth sailing on golden wings to a second term. Lowest unemployment in 50 years, economic models pointing to a Trump blowout in 2020.

The only dark warning was what a faltering economy or giant scandal could do. Then came the Kung Flu and the Democrats use of it to cheat.

Trump is so vilified today that we forget those rosy predictions and what soon followed. Those are the real crimes, not Jan 6 protests

Except the polls said otherwise. He was trailing nearly every Democrat who was put up as a candidate against him.

Here's the thing, if low unemployment by itself was enough to win elections, then Biden would have nothing to worry about right now. Hillary would have won. Gore would have won.

The point was, when he stood for re-election, unemployment was at 6.9% and you had thousands dying of Covid, riots in the streets, businesses closing for good, and pretty much the country spiraling into chaos.

".....you stupid piece of shit."

"God you're a dumbfuck."

Why do the MAGA-QAnon'rs do that?
Validate the now almost universally acknowledged cliche' that the MAGA-Q's are grievance-ridden, ill-informed, Trump University alumni. TDS in spades (Trump's Duped & Snookered, btw).
It's like they can't help themselves.
They naturally flow to that level.

Why do that? Is it their unreasoned fear of Comet Pizza? A racial bias against the Lizard People? A disorienting but overwhelming passion that John F. Kennedy, Jr. will run for election?

One would think that experience could help them rise above their educations?

MAGA.

"Except the polls said otherwise. He was trailing nearly every Democrat who was put up as a candidate against him."

And that observation raises a curious question.
To wit: Did the Republicans widely cheat in order to lose by only 7 million votes?
I mean by that ---here we have story after story from Pennsylvania, from Texas, from the Villages in Florida, from Colorado.....of Republicans double voting, of voting for their dead mother, of cheating as a clerk, the Cyber Ninjas finding MORE votes for Joe. All Republicans acting badly.

What the hell is the story there? With that kind of evidence it seems clear that the citizenry of the United States, and the nations we are allied with.....must have some well-grounded skepticism that the 74 million votes Don Trump allegedly says he received may very well have been much much less. I couldn't say how much less, but it seems reasonable to suspect that the 74 million alleged votes may very well have been bigly inflated?

I could see that argument being effectively offered.

IMHO

Someone should tell candycorn that simply responding to your thread with a giggly-face smiley doesn't really fulfill Alinsky's Rule #5.

It's nothing more than a sign of intellectual laziness.

I liked it better when it was not responding

And there it is folks, the articulate communications from Q-World, from MAGA-istan.
But why?
Why would a Q-ster waste his time in this dimension when he should be on the hunt for Archons and Lizard People? Or door-knocking with election fliers for JFK, Jr.?

I don't get it. But trust the poster knows how best to use his Q-Time.
But, I still love this bar.
