Remember when the Tea PArty did this?

I gotten used to seeing less than 1/2 the news from most of the media.

If you had not found this in some random blog none of us would have heard about it.

lol....I recall the NBC morning news during the campaign say the following...and I never watched that morning news show again....

I believe it was Matt Lauer who said... (paraphrased)

'Some news stations are reporting on Candidate Obama's affiliation with Bill Ayers. We have opted not to report on it as there are more important things in the news to address like our failing economy and 2 wars....(and then with a switch of cameras and a smile).....Coming up after the break...New details on Madonnas upcoming divorce!'

No joke....THAT is what happened.

Pathetic.

And all of that made the headlines.

but it's different when libs do cuz they are the good guys. Right?

jack off

Actually, I didn't say it's okay when the libs do it. That's you making a silly assumption.

I said quite clearly in my first post in this thread that media outlets on both sides will downplay or ignore things when it's their own and try to puff things up when it's the other guy.

Ahhh...But the issue is not really the media.
The issue is why are the PEOPLE so willing to villify one side and so ready to make excuses for the other side?
I know why...
Becuase we are all nothing but followers (sheep) of those with voices on each repsective side.
And it all goes back to our elected reps that are thrilled that their supporters fight their silly battles for them.

Been that way ever since 2000. Thats when politics turned into WWF .

Yes...you did.

You did NOT see it on Hannity, Oreilly, Fox and Friends or Greta. Those are not news shows...they are commentary shows.

Most people who dont watch fox news do not understand the difference.

Fox News reports the news. Commentary shows make it clear they are commentary shows....much like Rachel Maddow does.....

But Fox News gets the bad rap becuase people just dont know or care NOT to know the difference.

I see it as the REAL wealthy and elite pitting neighbors against one another while they rob us all.

The commentary shows are what define FOXNews.

That is what you allow it to define Fox News....

FoxNews name is derived from the fact that that their news programs provide news reports and their commentary programs comment on and discuss news events of choice...

But Hannity is not called "Hannity News...
Oreilly is not called Orielly News and Greta is not called Greta News...and Fox and friends is a morning show.

Those such as me? I watch fox news shows such as thew Brett Bair Evening news.....I do not watch Hannity just as I have no interest in watching Maddow....

But I for one do not define FoxNews based on their commentary shows. That would be like defining CNN based on Larry King (former)...or Wolf Blitzers shows...which are commentary talk shows.

I remember the tea party did worse...they interrupted town hall meetings and didn't allow their fellow citizens the right to interact with their elected representatives.

This was nothing.

They refused to let their fellow citizens the right to interact with their representatives? Interrupted town hall meetings? I must have been living in an alternate universe, because most of the people I saw doing that were wearing purple. Regardless, how is that worse than physically threatening an elected representative, forcing a colleague from the other side of aisle to risk his life and limb to escort him, and having their fellow protestors speak up against them, not to mention actually shutting down the government. Your sense of proportion is really skewed.

Not that I am surprised.

And they were ordered to do that.

And look at this ...

That link will take you to an SEIU page where you can sign up as an “organizer” for one of their upcoming major rallies to support the union goons in Wisconsin.

Here is what I am doing in Sacramento, where they are holding a 5:30 PM event this coming Tuesday: (1) I signed up as an organizer (2) with any luck they will contact me and I will have an “in” (3) in or not I will be there and am asking as many other people as can get there to come with, all of us in SEIU shirts (those who don’t have them we can possibly buy some from vendors likely to be there) (4) we are going to target the many TV cameras and reporters looking for comments from the members there (5) we will approach the cameras to make good pictures… signs under our shirts that say things like “screw the taxpayer!” and “you OWE me!” to be pulled out for the camera (timing is important because the signs will be taken away from us) (6) we will echo those slogans in angry sounding tones to the cameras and the reporters. (7) if I do get the ‘in’ I am going to do my darnedest to get podium access and take the mic to do that rant from there…with any luck and if I can manage the moments to build up to it, I can probably get a cheer out of the crowd for something extreme.
.

The Tea Party Nations is cool with putting plants in the crowd dressed up as SEIU members ...

And let's not forget this ...

You should have shown the entire clip where the heckler shoved the sign through the window into the face of Rand Paul.

Video at the link.

Wisconsin GOP Senator Glenn Grothman chased, trapped by hecklers, saved by Dem. Rep. Hulsey | Dane101

Come to think of it, neither do I, but I do remember the media talking about it a lot. Is there anyone who still wants to argue that there is not a double standard in the media? Just imagine if this was a Democratic governor trying to raise taxes, and the Tea Party actually acted like this.

How quickly the partisan hacks forget.

LOL

You forgot the first part of the Video clip where she attacked Rand... I won't bother to read the rest of your post as you're already either vastly uneducated on what you're talking about or purposely lying by misrepresenting what happened.

Of course I'm not saying the "Head stomp" that was widly (even by Rand) condemed was ok. But you seem more than ok with her actions.

The Republican representative couldn't get through the door. The mob would've rushed it crasbing their way through. I remember the worse case of T-P mobocracy, and they backed off at the door and simply weren't let in. They remained outside the meeting room and just talked about it. They were little pet rabbits compared to these wolves.

Virtually all the violence the past two years has been perped by the likes of these. And none of that violence has been unpremeditated.

You remember alot of things that are not true. The difference is the Tea Party doesn't like violence like the liberal nut jobs do.

ANyways as always, liberals are what they hate.

Liberals condem the TPM for anything they can scrape up (even when it was done by plants)

Now, it's correct to wave signs saying kill Walker and run around screaming while acting like 3 year olds. But hey it was ok when there were Bush-hitler signs too...
