Of course that was the simplified version. Money never collects. It is invested. If investments are made that cannot be supported by consumption they fail. This is normally called malinvestments. If that money is invested in the US even a fail moves money through the economy. If the investment is foreign, that money is gone. Here again this is a simplified version.

Government assistance is a symptom of the problems. If the problems are solved, the symptoms will go away. Merely cutting off government transfers would cause an immediate collapse of our economy.

Why can't he stay in Washington and address the serious issues facing this nation? And, how many professional politicians are out in the streets leading protests and marches to bring attention to the anti-America legislation and policies adversely affecting this nation and her citizens? Second, there is a significant income disparity that has been growing; and more and more there is a ruling class; and that is a problem.
