Are you arguing against this science? Yes or no.Human "happiness" reflects SWB (subjective well being) associated with both short-term & long-term cognitions (synaptic brain patterns).
Many psychologists have defined happiness as a combination of life satisfaction and the relative frequency of positive and negative affect.
Religion or IQ intelligence may not be directly correlated with "happiness".
Religious or dumb people can feel very happy!

Thank you for proving my point that atheists and socialists are the first to deny science when it doesn't suit their purpose. Are you unable to be specific? Are you arguing against this science? Sorry to say, you are not logical & don't understand how to express a valid argument.Thank you for proving my point that atheists and socialists are the first to deny science when it doesn't suit their purpose. Are you unable to be specific? Are you arguing against this science? Their religion is socialism which worships big government and social policy. It is based on atheism and deification of man. It proceeds in almost all its manifestations from the assumption that the basic principles guiding the life of an individual and of mankind in general do not go beyond the satisfaction of material needs or primitive instincts. They have no distinction between good and evil, no morality or any other kind of value, save pleasure. Their doctrine is abolition of private property, abolition of family, abolition of religion and communality or equality. The religious nature of socialism explains the extraordinary attraction to socialist doctrines and its capacity to inflame individuals and inspire popular movements and condemn respect for any who believe in Christianity. They practice moral relativity, indiscriminate indiscriminateness, multiculturalism, cultural marxism and normalization of deviance. Their hostility towards traditional religions is that of an animosity between a rival religion. They can be identified by an external locus of control. They worship science but are the first to argue against it.
Before moving on, i'll say that Buddhism is as good or better than Christianity or other religious beliefs in amygdalae functioning & releasing dopamine, esp if you really believe your thoughts, and gain your perception of "nirvana".Sorry.Who were you responding to?And Buddhism?

To put it bluntly, you do not know what the fuck you're talking about.
However, I hope your simplistic religious beliefs make you happy; that's a real hedonistic goal.
I love Buddhism. I think it's great. Before moving on, i'll say that Buddhism is as good or better than Christianity or other religious beliefs in amygdalae functioning & releasing dopamine, esp if you really believe your thoughts, and gain your perception of "nirvana".Sorry.Who were you responding to?And Buddhism?

Also, many non-religious philosophical beliefs do the same.

If you don't understand basic logic & cannot express yourself clearly, then science is way over your head.
I'm wasting my valuable time with you.
Good luck with your "easy button" beliefs ...
You see many Romans around here.Excellent. Now we are getting somewhere. So it isn't a surprise to you why Western Civilization was so successful. Thank you. That wasn't so hard, now was it?Sure, but we aren't discussing a person suffering from hunger and dehydration in the desert. We are discussing the scientifically proven concept that happiness leads to more successful outcomes. Do you believe that Christians who experience a happiness effect as defined by science will be more successful than Christians who don't?A person suffering from hunger and dehydration in the desert will only find happiness while dreaming of having a banquet in an oasis but only until he wakes up and realizes it was just a mirage and he is still in a lifeless desert, starving and dehydrated.
I'd say its entirely possible. People who are successful at fraud will not feel bad if their deception is successful.
But then again, what does it benefit a person if they should gain worldly success and the entire wealth in the world if it is at the cost of losing their mind?
Don't all branches of Christianity teach that any rational question about or rational objection to your belief in a three in one mangod is demonic attack?
What this does is sets the mind against itself creating a program, rooted in your head, that systematically rejects every rational thought as evil like malware in a computer that causes it to malfunction until it crashes..
Successful? lol.. the Romans were by far more successful and for millennia.
Turning people into mindless drones isn't really that hard to do....
All it took was the threat of imaginary punishment in an imaginary hell to cut off your balls.
How good could you possibly feel about that?

What I see is the indelible mark that roman perversions of the gospel of Jesus Christ has left on your addled mind.
You do know that anyone whose balls have been crushed or cut off cannot become a member of the assembly of the Lord, don't you?
Its the Law!

Reason and experience tell us that there is evidence for a Creator.
Before moving on, i'll say that Buddhism is as good or better than Christianity or other religious beliefs in amygdalae functioning & releasing dopamine, esp if you really believe your thoughts, and gain your perception of "nirvana".
I wonder if there's any proof for this: "The later Buddhist texts assert that rebirth can occur in six realms of existence, namely three good realms (heavenly, demi-god, human) and three evil realms (animal, hungry ghosts, hellish)", or is it just more made up shit like the bible?I love Buddhism. As with Christianity, there is no end of 'embellishments' on what is elemental.
The latter as the intent was to discuss tangible items but intangible creations like songs would work too.Reason and experience tell us that there is evidence for a Creator.
We need a definition of 'create'. Does it mean to bring something into existence where there was nothing before or does it mean working with existing materials to make something new?
