In Russia, raspberry is considered a "spread plant", which grows in Dacha.

Dacha is a country house, which has the majority of urban residents of Russia.
Raspberries, grown with their own hands, do not have rot, worms ... it looks beautiful ..

But I do not like raspberries. I collect raspberries in the forest.

This is very difficult, because mosquitoes, hills, heat ..
This "forest raspberry" grows in open areas of the forest. It is often rotten and has worms ... therefore, one must choose a good berry.
This raspberry has an unforgettable aroma.
Therefore, When I go to the forest, I collect a little raspberries in 2 hours.
Then, I return, I pour out the raspberries and then go back to the forest .. The forest is 100 meters away from me.

When raspberries are collected, Mama prepares raspberry Varenie.
    Not jam!
This is called a five-minute. To cook very shortly, to keep a consistence of berries and viiamines. We eat this Varenie the winter.

Black raspberries are the best ones. They're way sweeter. If you;re lucky, they sometimes spread in the vicinity of the more tart red ones.

I love raspberries. I try to grab some wild ones and transplant them here amidst all the blackberries, which I have to keep cutting back so they don't strangle the rasps.

So far they're doing well but there's never enough.

These black raspberries, in Russia, are called EGEVIKA.
I lived on the territory of the USSR, in the south, north and in the center.
But, I never met in the forest.
In the farmers' markets they are, but we do not buy berries in such markets.

Planning to plant some in my back lot.
They grow wild just down the road and I believe I will try to transplant a couple.
    I love wild raspberries.
