Garner was a pretty likable actor or was it the fact he played likable characters so well. I think likable characters were easy for him because of what he was made of. I never get tired of seeing old Rockford or Maverick airings. Hopefully the western channel that shows nothing but westerns (duh) will dedicate a week or weekend to the old Maverick series.
