Quiet night in Ferguson

Wonderful news and I hope the same Peach. I think the "residents" are sick and tired of the Holders, Sharpton's Black Panthers using their town to push their POLITICAL AGENDAS

This is good. 'Tho, that is a very peculiar video. The woman at the ends says that she does not want the protests at night to stop because she believes it will silence them. Then the voice says that they hurry home in case the violence starts again. That may be true but it comes off a bit contradictory.

The peaceful protesters want an end to the rioting and looting, they want to walk in peace.

Yep. I agree with this. Burning down a gas station because of a rumor circulating? Kids can't go to school? People afraid to leave their homes at night? What a bunch of crap.

Peace and quiet return to the streets of Ferguson - CNN.com

The peaceful residents are now having an effect on the rabble rousers, and this is a positive sign. I hope it is repeated tonight, those rioting and looting care nothing about the town, nor Michael Brown's death, they steal and damage because they chose to do so.

Probably not much left to loot or destroy.

Hope those Ferguson folks are proud because they destroyed their own town and business owners out of business.

Hope no one needs a gallon of milk or a loaf of bread.

I'm still a bit baffled by the hypocrisy that Wilson supporters are not allowed to peacefully protest as well. I mean admittedly it's a pretty ballsy, perhaps even confrontational, given the situation; but I would argue that they have just as much right (and perhaps even more basis) for their protest. Yet, the police have to remove them from the scene because 'peaceful' Brown protestors become hostile when two people express a differing opinion from their own? Are two people really a 'threat' to voicing their opinions?

To be entirely honest, I'm a bit put off that they have based their protest entirely on assumption and speculation. It is not that I can necessarily blame them given the nature of Johnson's interviews, but I do blame them for refusing to see anything from the other side of the story. It just does not appear to me that they are seeking "justice" at all, but rather that they seek punishment of Wilson without a trial. That is not justice, in fact, it rather flies in the face of the 'wrong' they proclaim; that Brown was killed without justification...

Maybe a sign from God? hey if it helped I'm all for it.

Thought crossed my mind watching live coverage noting the lightning. "Whoever the lightning strikes is the wrong side." :)

I live a few hours from St. Louis after I moved from Alaska in 2008. The thunderstorms here are whoa. We didn't get those in Alaska, not like this. I also grew up in Illinois so I knew about these, but had been gone from the Midwest for over 30 years. Some can be scary...

I don't like to say this but such great disturbances of peace always have a director. And even if most of the people come to express their sincere resentment, still there is a manipulator that sends their energy in a certain direction. That's why though I truly welcome this night of peace, I am extremely suspicious of what is going to happen next. For I don't like the whole story from the very beginning.

Inevitably, when authority and discipline break down, negroes revert to the average/mean.

Imagine living in a black majority country...

So, you're a racist on top of this?

Pro-Wilson protestors ARE allowed to protest. And to show their thanks, officers wisk away lone supporters so the 100 anti-Wilson ones don't rip her apart. :)

They do NOT care about "justice" or honesty. They are born and raised in a constant atmosphere of racial jealousy and resentment. They nurture, encourage and maintain it...

Racial solidarity against ANYTHING "white" is more important to them than facts or honesty.

The whole point is to disrupt, agitate and frustrate the white man.

That must be why the cops had to escort two pro-police demonstrators from the area yesterday

That must be why the cops has to escort two protesters out of there, holding signs supporting justice, not a rush to justice by that lynch mob
