Saying it's about geo politics is saying nothing. What are the specific goals? And saying Putin is winning is saying nothing unless you can say what goals he is making progress towards.
Lucky then that these poor little Ruskies are only fighting the US -- the crowd that are so bad that a few men with shovels and sticks kicked them out of Grenada .

Incidentally , the casualty ratio is about one Russian to 10 - 12 from the US-NATO -Ukey left overs .
More a Ukey disaster than a decent war .

But His Excellency the Honorable Vladimir Putin does not care how many Russian boys die (or are maimed).

He lacks any sense of human sympathy or decency.

The Red army never won a single battle against the Germans in WWII until the western allies landed in Sicily
In mid-November 1942 the Soviet army defeated the German army at Stalingrad with a massive counterattack and encircled and captured the entire army.
The Allies didn't land on Sicily until June, 1943 and Italy three months later.

Please do yourself a favor and read a history book on WWll before posting your nonsense again. ...:cuckoo:

Go easy on the poor chaps .
They are taking a terrible beating and it will get much worse .
These poor souls literally cannot process the bad news and cannot quite comprehend that something the legacy media repeated day in and day out could be so far off the truth .

Moron, Stalingrad was under siege for most of the war. The Germans weren't defeated, they were in control of the area and the Russians suffered enormous losses but held out. They were not driven away until Hitler began to withdraw German troops from the East. The Russian army has consistently been one of the worst armies of any developed nations, and that why they are unable to win in Ukraine despite all the weapons they have.

Stalingrad was under siege for most of the war.
Why do you keep doubling down on being dumb and just wrong? .. :dunno:

The entire German 6th army surrendered after their defeat at Stalingrad on February 2, 1943
There was still well over two years of the Soviet army fighting and advancing until the Germans were finally defeated and surrendered in Berlin on May 7, 1945

Again, the siege failed but there was no German surrender at Stalingrad.

What is your major malfunction?... :dunno:
Try reading the site that you posted.

The Germans occupied 90% of Stalingrad before the Soviet army made a massive counter-attack and drove the German 6th army to the farthest outskirts of Stalingrad and then into the country side. Where the Soviet army encircled the remaining German army and General Paulus surrendered.

But you are lying again. The text doesn't say Paulis surrendered but that he was captured.

The Russian Casualties in Ukraine: Update

The Russian military is suffering heavy casualties on the ground. Most of the Russian fatalities are taking place around the towns of Bakhmut and Avdiivka in the Donbas. Moscow has been trying to capture both since the summer but has failed to achieve anything more than advancing a few miles and capturing some small settlements on the outskirts of the cities.
But the cost for these “successes” has been truly horrific.

The Russian forces are losing an average of 500 men killed every day, with many more wounded. Moscow is drawing from its recently mobilized reservists and Wagner Group mercenaries to support the offensive operations in the area. For the Russian leadership, these are cheap, expendable troops, especially Wagner Group’s former convicts.

Overall, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense claimed that as of Friday, Ukrainian forces have killed approximately 100,950 Russian troops (and wounded approximately twice to thrice that number), destroyed 283 fighter, attack, bomber, and transport jets, 267 attack and transport helicopters, 3,005 tanks, 1,984 artillery pieces, 5,986 armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles, 414 Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS), 16 boats and cutters, 4,622 vehicles and fuel tanks, 211 anti-aircraft batteries, 1,698 tactical unmanned aerial systems, 178 special equipment platforms, such as bridging vehicles, and four mobile Iskander ballistic missile systems, and 653 cruise missiles shot down by the Ukrainian air defenses.

All these losses in a war which in no way could make the lives of the Russian people any better.

All that loss and there was never a reason to invade.

Talk about the futility of war.

Only in your fantasies. The Red army never won a single battle against the Germans in WWII until the western allies landed in Sicily and Hitler began withdrawing troops from the east to bolster the defenses of Italy. This happened during the battle of Kursk, Moron, in which Russian losses were several times the German losses but resulted in a Russian victory anyway because Hitler began withdrawing German troops in the middle of the battle because of the allied landing in Sicily.

What followed the German withdrawal was a Russian occupation of eastern Europe that was every bit as savage as the German occupation had been.
Russia has lost 35 % of its top tier Military vehicles ( including Armor )

Once again, try reading the site you posted. .. :cuckoo:

Yes, General Paulus was captured.
And while in custody, he decided to defy Hitler's orders to fight to the last man and surrendered his entire army.
You continue to tell the same tired old lies. There was no surrender although the Russians tried very hard to persuade Paulus to surrender. The siege failed, there were heavy losses on both sides and Paulus was captured. The Russians wanted a formal surrender for propaganda purposes, but they never got one.

You really are quite comical with your invented version of history. ..

"Shortly before surrendering, Paulus sent his wedding ring back to his wife on the last plane departing his position."
" Upon finding out about Paulus surrender. Hitler flew into a rage and vowed never to appoint another field marshal again."
"Paulus died in Dresden, on 1 February 1957 at age 66, 14 years and one day after his surrender at Stalingrad."

He had already been captured by the Russians, so who that was the Russian version of events. There's a reason why no one believes Russian news outlets or Russian election results.
