He also said that the sanctions have become a powerful stimulus for the growth of Russia´s production among other economic fields. The economy does better than expected and could exceed a GDP growth of 2,5% this year.

If you have foreign products withdrawn from your market, that doesn´t mean the demand will vanish. So if you have a performant country, your industry can and will replace them. Very easy to understand.
