Actually, Russian Communism is completely defined by the Holodomor, the Russian genocide against the Ukrainian people in which Stalin, the man who created and defined Russian Communism, systematically starved nearly 4 million Ukrainians to death to squelch a Ukrainian independence movement in the early 1930's. The fact that Putin is now trying to freeze huge numbers of Ukrainians to death this winter to try to squelch Ukrainian independence shows the spirit of Russian communism is alive and well in Russia today.A communist is a supporter of the ideas of communism, or a member of the Communist Party. Moreover, a member of the Communist Party is not necessarily a supporter of the ideas of communism. He may just be a careerist if the Communist Party is in power. So communists can be considered primarily a person who is a supporter of the ideas of communism.
