"For instance, we can bring up Mr. Browder, in this particular case. Business associates of Mr. Browder have earned over $1.5 billion in Russia and never paid any taxes neither in Russia or the United States and yet the money escaped the country. They were transferred to the United States. They sent [a] huge amount of money, $400,000,000, as a contribution to the campaign of Hillary Clinton. Well that’s their personal case.

It might have been legal, the contribution itself but the way the money was earned was illegal. So we have solid reason to believe that some [US] intelligence officers accompanied and guided these transactions. So we have an interest in questioning them."

    "Who is Bill Browder?

Browder is an American-born British financier. He is the CEO and co-founder of Hermitage Capital Management, an investment fund that at one time was the largest foreign portfolio investor in Russia.

But Browder surrendered his U.S. citizenship and moved to the UK to avoid U.S. tax charges.

Bill Browder’s grandfather was head of the Communist Party USA."

Allegedly a common practice of passing bribes or campaign donations covertly, is to hire the individual to work at whatever company, pay the bribe/donation as salary, and then call the term of employment a short, temporary contract. The recipient of the bribe then leaves the company with their funny money disguised as earnings and bonuses, stock and profit sharing percentages. Perfectly legal and unprovable in any court. The only drawback, taxes owed.

Additionally, there's this story from 2015, which begs many similar questions:

    www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3174033/Clintons-charities-got-50million-British-aid-cash-UK-government-accused-trying-buy-influence-power-family.html

"At least £50 million of taxpayer-funded foreign aid money has gone to Clinton charities, which are at the centre of allegations in the US that foreign governments used donations to buy influence."

If what Putin says is true, then he should be prepared to provide the documents which reveal the alleged money-trail. If he doesn't produce it, then this allegation is likely bullshit.

Funny how an allegation of Mueller is evidence that the Russians did it but when Putin makes an allegation you demand proof...

But I think Putin has indeed proof, he's a pretty smart guy and he doesn't have a habit of making wild accusations that he can't back up

Does that mean you agree with me?

What's really incredible is how that statement of Putin didn't make the MSM headlines, one would think they would jump on this evidence of Russian collusion

Well, looking at the larger picture including Wall Street, the leading 'academics', the Establishment on both sides of the aisle, and their constant gushing over how wonderful Red China is and all the other shit hole countries they park their capital equipment in, all export driven slave labor countries with no human rights whatsoever, no interference by the peasants in any govt. function, etc., and in any issue of Foreign Affairs and their other mouthpieces the last four decades, this claim is not only believable as a story but probably true; the scum have done far worse, and under Obama's admin, too, so there is little reason to doubt it at this point.

As with the FBI, we can only hope there are enough mid-level genuine American patriots left in the apparatus who will revolt and expose the treasonous vermin.
