Polisens HBTQ-satsning med rosa kjolar väcker stark kritik och frågor

Expecting any socialist country to have anything nice, or to be competent is just being unrealistic. Everything is owned by the government, and since they already collect your money through taxes, and in most cases don't allow the citizens(their property) to vote, they have no incentive to do anything well.

Wasn't Sweden the country in which feminists tried to pass a bill legally making men SIT DOWN to pee? It's so weird, it's like leftists want everyone to melt into one, ambiguous, nebulous non-gender. Is it so difficult to admit that men and women have certain natural differences (apples & oranges comparison)?

When Australia was Nationalised, it was the economically strongest its ever been and life was way cheaper, because national owned companies put profit back into maintenence and upgrading the company.

a privatised service, however, has its profits stripped by the shareholders(HALF of whom, are foriegn investors and take the money out of the economy). And the private companies, whether they be phone providers, energy providers etc, dont bother competing with each other. Istead they get together and decide on the prices they will charge.

why are you ignorant on this subject and im not? Because in my small nation i witnessed and experienced the transition from nationalisation to privatisation. It made life more expensive and less convenient. It sold off my country to foriegn investors and made us guests in our own soveriegn land.

The good thing about government owned services, is, if they arent being run well, YOU CAN VOTE THE BASTARDS OUT. Something you cant do with private companies when they create polyopolies and price hikes and lobby politicians to pass laws which allow them to charge you unjust fees in a way that you cannot fight them on it.

but hey, you're probably still worried about the cold war. The brain washing runs deep in the American mind.

All their warrior genes went aviking and settled in Russian, Britain and the German lands. Thats why scannies are so weak. They deported all the warrior stock centuries ago.

That showed them Goose,I will make a point here,Sweden is one of the most advanced countries in the world.....Free Health Care,Unemployment,Aged Care,Schooling everything......Incredible Standard of Living.....An Advanced Nation in Every Way.

The trouble with Americans,"They Have Failed" Centuries of wealth and nothing to show for it,plenty of Guns and Shit but no real Quality of Life as we know it in Australia and Countries like Sweden and Norway........the average Joe is a poor Joe in America, the wages are appaulling for example.

If all the loans given to the USA were called in Americans or most of then would be living in mud humpys

Twats like the Baron think that American life is the only life, myopic I know and total Ignorance but hey only 3% of AMERICANS HAVE A PASSPORT,so what would they really know about other cultures or societies.....they are a frightened people most of them,if you use the word socialism they have no concept of the word but only fear of what they assume, and folk that go on assumptions are always wrong....that is why we have to indure shitty comments like the Ignoramus Baron.

What a moron.

Our "less fortunate" live a higher standard of living than the middle class of those nations.

These Euro nations have never needed strong police forces. For one....America protects them from foreign threats. And two....they have always had demographics which were not prone to violent crime.

Now....things are changing

That's totally wrong. It is just the opposite.

When Australia was Nationalised, it was the economically strongest its ever been and life was way cheaper, because national owned companies put profit back into maintenence and upgrading the company.
Actually, you're not wrong on a very small part of that, that IS when it was strongest, because it happened directly after a world wide financial crisis, and shortly after that, they began conducting free trade with the rest of the world, with no limitations, which naturally improves the economies of all countries involved.
a privatised service, however, has its profits stripped by the shareholders(HALF of whom, are foriegn investors and take the money out of the economy).
Having foreign investors can be achieved in both systems. Any country can be 'bought' and can be turned into a place where they feel like outsiders. You have no point here.
And the private companies, whether they be phone providers, energy providers etc, dont bother competing with each other. Istead they get together and decide on the prices they will charge.
They have to compete, because there are always people traveling back and forth, and always want to make extra money off of their consumers. When they do agree on a price, it's usually middle ground. This only actually happens when there is only one option in certain areas, like here for example. We only have one power company in this area because the government combined them. If they're in the same area, doing so would limit their consumers drastically.
why are you ignorant on this subject and im not? Because in my small nation i witnessed and experienced the transition from nationalisation to privatisation. It made life more expensive and less convenient. It sold off my country to foriegn investors and made us guests in our own soveriegn land.
Outright false unless all you have is monopolies. Private businesses naturally compete, causing lowest prices and highest quality. When the government controls or becomes the businesses, they become natural monopolies, not having to compete with anyone, and naturally having the highest prices and lowest quality, because there's no incentive to do better. Having foreign investors can be achieved in both systems. Any country can be 'bought' and can be turned into a place where they feel like outsiders.
You're half wrong here. Yes, in most cases, you can vote out people in government seats. However, you can't vote out the government system, you have to find a person willing to give up all of that government power they have. You also can't vote out a "government service", you have to find someone who is willing to get rid of or change that service. With private companies, however, unless they're a monopoly, you vote with your money. If you don't like how they're doing something, you go buy from their competitor. In the cases of the lobbying of politicians, that can happen anywhere, in any system. Even from outside the country. Having privatized business doesn't make a country any more vulnerable to having their politicians bought.

The GREATNESS OF ANY SOCIETY IS HOW WELL THEY LOOK AFTER THE LESS FORTUNATE
No, no it is not. The 'less fortunate' are most often lazy, skilless, leeches on society. You measure a country's greatness by their advancement in technology, wealth, power, and the citizen's ability to take care of themselves. A great society has citizens that don't need to be looked after by their government.
.....Sweden and Australia do very well indeed...America do poorly, you have No Real Socil,Care etc.,benefits..,......What have you done with all the money over the years??????and what are you doing for the future?????Not Much I should Imagine.....Some people cannot wait to get to America, others(not me) Think it is the Ass End of the World.steven
Firstly, that's not how you measure how 'advanced' a country is. It's not the government's job to provide 'benefits', or 'social security', or 'healthcare'. There's money to be made in those things, the private sector can provide them with minimum cost and maximum quality. What has America done with its money? Wasted it on 160+ Federal Government agencies we don't need, prevented ourselves from using our natural resources, and used it to fund terrorists. I'd also like to point out that America's economy and GDP are better than Sweden's, even with a president that has done everything in his power to destroy it.

You are wrong on most counts. America is a GREAT COUNTRY!! You are a bigot against the US!!! I can only suggest that you are a Cold War hack from the 70s "Beds are Burning" nuttos!! And Oz is so great?? I've assisted with various volunteer Homeless services including in Melbourne over the years and have worked with kids from small communities in the NT. We have out fair share of destitute and needy. The US has a very good social support network not only through the Gov but through Churches and Philanthropic orgs. Your comments regarding the US are ridiculous!!

Oh; and in case you drivel on about it, Oz IS Great!! But we have our challenges too!!

No; I disagree. The poor in the US, from what I can gather, are on an equal footing with those in Oz. I've not been to Sweden but I've seen a bit of Europe and would suggest that the ULTRA poor there are probably not much worse off than the poor in the US. In short, the Liq doth speaketh crap!! I would equate the "middle class" in Oz with the mids in the US. Both countries I would suggest look after the needy quite well.
