Hey, I applaud his service during Vietnam, (he was an Infantry Sgt in the 9th), but let's get real, Hitler served honorably also and I wouldn't want him in any position of power in this nation. Iran is a serious threat to America, our ally Israel and to the civilized world in general, not to mention being directly responsible for the deaths of many US Service personnel, yet Hagel voted against extending sanctions against Iran, going so far as to petition GW Bush into letting that gaggle of America hating, Jew hating, Christian hating, muslim scumbags join the WTO. He voted AGAINST naming the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps a Terrorist organization, this while these muslim scumbags where actively murdering US Military personnel in Iraq and aiding and supplying Shiite militias that where also killing US Military personnel. He also seemed to suggest in his book that the US could live with a nuclear armed Iran, which anyone with any sense would know would lead to a nuclear holocaust in the Middle East, this by the Iranian's own leader's words and statements. Leading one to believe he may hold some serious ant-semitic leanings or at least anti-Israel leanings. With all this in mind I must also oppose any appt of him to lead our nation's military. The man is unqaulified and his judgement has to seriously be questioned regardless of him doing a tour in Vietnam over 40yrs ago. As for Ted Nugent, he's a staunch conservative today, but let's face the facts, the dude was a dope addict hippe rocker back in the day. People change, both Nugent and Hagel it seems.

The Pussification and dumbing down of America's youth through the ed-ja-ma-ka-she-on system is necessary, if we fail to disarm the people of the United States of America soon, then it will most definitely be possible in the next pussified generation.

My son went to an expensive private school, got the best education, and he was out-classed by some peasant boy that went to public schools, higher grades, superior athletics, more friends, this cannot be allowed to continue, this is why we put political pressure on public school teachers, so they will think of saving there own asses versus actually teaching the peasant children.

Chuck Hagel as Secretary of Defense.

At issue are Hagel's 2002 views on the Iraq invasion (said it would be a mistake), Iran (he urges caution, military restraint and direct dialogue) and his use of what some call a derogatory term regarding Jews.

Prior to the invasion of Iraq in 2003 Hagel, concerned that some of his fellow Republicans were rushing to war, claimed they lacked the perspective of veterans like him who've "sat in jungles or foxholes and watched their friends get their heads blown off." These same Republicans, none of whom ever donned a military uniform, had the audacity to call Hagel weak and an "appeaser." But what does Hagel, a Vietnam combat vet with two Purple Hearts, the Combat Infantryman Badge, the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry and the Army Commendation Medal, know about war, right?"

This story caught my eye recently;

In the movie network who could forget the famous line “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore!” Well I’m tired of those who look for something to be offended about.

How is it that we have become a nation populated by wimps and crybabies. Liberal politicians spend their time offended by things that don’t matter, instead of solving real issues like the economy, jobs, or threats to national security.
The world of political correctness that started under the first Bush administration, and was placed on steroids by the Clintons has become so out of control that harmless and previously inoffensive terms now offend. What happened to “Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me? “ How did we survive before PC? Have we become so pansified that people can no longer express themselves? Here’s some tough love for the politically correct: if you want to be offended, fine by me. If you cannot laugh at yourself and the world you have deeper issues than someone calling you a name.

Dr. Carson’s speech at the National prayer breakfast clearly identified our problem when he said “…it’s very difficult to speak to a large group of people these days and not offend someone… The PC police are out in force at all times…we’ve reached the point where people are afraid to actually talk about what they want to say because somebody might be offended… We’ve got to get over this sensitivity…it keeps people from saying what they really believe…what we need to do in this PC world is forget about unanimity of speech and unanimity of thought, and we need to concentrate on being respectful to those people with whom we disagree. … PC is dangerous, because… one of the founding principles was freedom of thought and freedom of expression… [PC] it muffles people. It puts a muzzle on them. And at the same time, keeps people from discussing important issues while the fabric of this society is being changed.” Good points all Dr. Carson. It is time for Americans to man up and stop whining. It is time to deal with the important issues at hand.
