The UK branch of Israeli cosmetics store, Ahava, is moving from its central London shop after years of pro-Palestinian demonstrations.

Protesters claim that the products sold in the store are manufactured in a factory in Israeli settlement, Mitzpe Shalom in the West Bank but are "misleadingly" labelled as produced in Israel.

The owner of the shop, currently in Monmouth Street, Covent Garden, is looking for other sites after owners of neighbouring stores complained to the landlord following protests.

A spokeswoman for Shaftesbury PLC, which owns the property as well as several others in the Seven Dials area, said: "When Ahava's lease expires in September, we will not offer them a new one."

Ahava UK's accounts up until the end of 2009 show a total loss of more than £250,000, despite receiving more than £300,000 from its Israeli parent company, with no repayment plan.

AHAVA IS ON THE RUN!
JCrap.com (the Jewish Chronicle) today posted the news on their website that the campaign against Ahava has scored a direct hit. The landlord, Shaftesbury PLC will not renew Ahava’s lease after over a year of regular fortnightly demonstrations and direct actions. The shop’s neighbours are also keen to see Ahava leave and most have voiced support for the BDS campaign against the company.

The main manufacturing plant and showroom is at Mitzpe Shalem, an Israeli settlement and cooperative community[5], while the company's administrative headquarters is located in Holon.[6], the factory is about 10km north of the Green Line and well within Palestinian territory.

Boycott Israel News: 64-year-old female suicide bomber attacks Israeli troops in Gaza

JEBALIYA, Gaza Strip (AP) — A 64-year-old Palestinian grandmother blew herself up near Israeli troops sweeping through northern Gaza on Thursday, wounding two soldiers, and eight other Palestinians were killed in a day of clashes and rocket fire.

The militant Hamas, which is in charge of the Palestinian government, claimed responsibility for the suicide attack and identified the bomber as Fatma Omar An-Najar. Her relatives said she was 64 — by far the oldest of the more than 100 Palestinian suicide bombers who have targeted Israelis over the past six years./QUOTE]

Her oldest daughter explained the bomber's motives - "They (Israelis) destroyed her house, they killed her grandson – my son. Another grandson is in a wheelchair with an amputated leg,"

Fatheya said she and her mother had taken part in rally at a Gaza mosque three weeks ago where women defied a cordon of heavily armed Israeli troops to create a diversion for besieged Hamas fighters to slip away.

“She and I, we went to the mosque. We were looking for martyrdom,” the daughter said.

Take your MARTYRDOM and blow yourself up. Leave innocents alone. Muslims do this all over the world.

Everyone has the legal right to attack foreign troops. At least it was not a terrorist attack.

Her oldest daughter explained the bomber's motives - "They (Israelis) destroyed her house, they killed her grandson – my son. Another grandson is in a wheelchair with an amputated leg,"

I guess Israel was hoping that nobody would notice.

Hamas to boycott W. Bank elections

Hamas officials said on Monday that the Islamist movement will boycott the municipal elections that the Palestinian Authority is planning to hold in the West Bank in July.

They said that the elections were being held under the supervision of Prime Minister Salam Fayyad’s “unconstitutional government” which, they added, “has dissolved many of the elected municipal councils and relaxed them with appointed ones.”

“Hamas won’t recognize the results of the planned elections because they lack fairness and credibility,” the officials said, claiming that the vote was anyhow designed to help Fatah and supporters of the Oslo Accords.

According to Hamas, the vote is being held under the auspices of “politically-motivated” Fatah security forces that are practicing “security terror” against Palestinians.

They pointed out that the Fatah security forces in the West Bank have been silencing critics and political opponents and arresting and dismissing Palestinians from their jobs for political reasons.

Hamas also warned that holding the vote under the current circumstances would only deepen divisions among the Palestinians.

The Islamic Jihad also announced its intention to boycott the local elections, which are scheduled to be held on July 17.

It also claimed that the elections were designed to serve the political purposes of Fatah. The group accused the Palestinian security forces in the West Bank of pursuing its members and supporters by arresting them and dismissing them from their jobs.

The boycott means that the elections will be contested only by Fatah and independent candidates.

Hamas won a sweeping victory in the municipal elections that were held in December 2005, taking control of major cities such as Nablus, Jenin, Al-Bireh and Bethlehem.

The PA has decided that the upcoming elections will be held only in the West Bank because of the Hamas “coup” in the Gaza Strip.

The government in the West Bank is illegal. They do not have the authority to hold elections.

Jews war on Islam?

All thirteen million of us worldwide?

Against 1.7 Billion Muslims?

You are lost in something Jos. It's not reality. The war is far more encompassing than Jews.

Judeo/Christian my girl. Remember that when your time comes and...

It comes....

There are two types of Jihads. The violent takeover of countries and the MORE dangerous one the Silent Jihad. This is what is happening in Europe and Russia. Muslims immigrant in record numbers to these Western countries. They reproduce like rabbits and take full advantage of the welfare system. The welfare burdens get pushed onto the Native European population. When the Muslim population is low (like in the USA), then they are most a non-violent quit group. Once they grow in number they complain about everything, demand more and then seek to overthrow the host country.

As Muslim population grows, what can happen to a society? - National Homeland Security | Examiner.com

What happens to society's as the Muslim population grows in percentage of the total?

In the book, Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat, written by Dr. Peter Hammond, he explores the topic of the impact that an increasing Muslim population has on that society. The lists below illustrate the Muslim population status of countries around the world, and exactly what changes to the societies can be expected according to Hammond.

The book as well as the author are controversial, but the topic is definitely something that needs to be explored and understood. From the book:

< 2%:
As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:

United States -- Muslim 0.6%
Australia -- Muslim 1.5%
Canada -- Muslim 1.9%
China -- Muslim 1.8%
Italy -- Muslim 1.5%
Norway -- Muslim 1.8%

2% - 5%: ==> Issues state at as small as 2%

5% - 10%:

10% - 20%:

20% - 30%:

40% - 60%:

From 60%-80%:

After 80% - 99%:
expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in:

Bangladesh -- Muslim 83%
Egypt -- Muslim 90%
Gaza -- Muslim 99.7%
Indonesia -- Muslim 86.1%
Iran -- Muslim 98%
Iraq -- Muslim 97%
Jordan -- Muslim 92%
Morocco -- Muslim 98.7%
Pakistan -- Muslim 97%
Palestine -- Muslim 99%
Syria -- Muslim 90%
Tajikistan -- Muslim 90%
Turkey -- Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates -- Muslim 96%

Finally at 100%:
100% will usher in the peace of 'Dar-es-Salaam' -- the Islamic House of Peace. Here there's supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in:

Afghanistan -- Muslim 100%
Saudi Arabia -- Muslim 100%
Somalia -- Muslim 100%
Yemen -- Muslim 100%

Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.

Time for some Goodyn Fail.

Boycotts are evil.

For sure. But, on a website such as this it's a fair cop. :p and not a fail at all.

Liberality in the face of aggression is the fail BM. Fail until there is no room left for fail.

Gaza -- Muslim 99.7%

It is clear. And those who complain of fire with fire antics have never fought fire.

They run from fire.
