The other option would be, to take over the entire area and give the Palestinians full Israeli citizenship with full freedom over movement and representation in the Israeli government. But that would mean the Israelis would have to share the land and the government and I don't think they are ready to do that.

Experts predict a million refugees might flee the Gaza Strip amid the war between Israel and Hamas, and socialists and far-left lawmakers said America should welcome them.
“Fifty percent of the population in Gaza are children. The international community as well as the United States should be prepared to welcome refugees from Palestine while being very careful to vet and not allow members of Hamas,” said Rep. Jamaal Bowman, a New York member of the Socialist-Democratic “Squad” who remains under investigation for pulling a fire alarm in the House Cannon Office Building earlier this month.
But Republicans have already slammed the door shut on the issue.
Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Rick Scott (R-Fla.) said they would oppose Palestinian resettlement efforts here.
“The U.S. is the most generous nation in the world, but we are in no position to accept additional refugees, especially from a region with as high a risk of terrorism, given our nation’s inability to secure our own border or vet those who are already here,” Rubio told The Post.

This kind of insanity is what Democrat Socialists are all about. This is the essence of today’s Democrat Socialist of America Party.

I don't agree with you, concerning the current potential for Palestinians and Israelis to peacefully co-exist together as citizens of a country called "Israel", much less so if it continues identifying itself as the "Jewish State". I believe there's just too much bad blood between Palestinians and Israelis. I'm stumped really. Because the Israelis have nukes. and I don't see how we can return to the status quo after this genocidal bombing campaign in Gaza. The Isralis have nukes, the Pakistanis have nukes, and I just don't even want to imagine what's going to happen.

The apartheid state has to end and maybe I should be a bit more optimistic as you are. What you said would be the ideal, provided Israel becomes "Israel-Palestine", and is no longer a "Jewish State" but rather the Israeli-Palestinian State. A country for all of its citizens, whether Jewish or not. If the Jewish Israelis did that, and the Palestinians were given that opportunity then they backstab the Jewish Israelis, I would find myself on the side of Jewish Israelis, fighting the Palestinians.
