President Trump: the man who restored constitutional government

President Trump continues to do an astounding job restoring constitutional government...
  • President Trump has kicked the immigration ball back to Congress where the constitution says it belongs
  • He has also scrapped the Obamacare birth control mandate that penalized Christians and others.
  • Last, but certainly not least, President Trump ended the Obamacare subsidies for insurance companies.
President Trump Has Done Some Real Good Lately | The Resurgent

The ripple effect from President Trump has been nothing short of astounding. He has even caused the anti-American, anti-constitution progressive crowd to begin to embrace and abide by the U.S. Constitution.

This is how the United States was designed to operate. With each state deciding for themselves what direction to go in. If California wants to implement all kinds of "green" policies - good for them. Go for it. They just don't get to force the rest of society into it.

Democrats Plot ‘Revolution’ to Circumvent Trump’s Paris Decision

I don't think to many states want dirty air and water--so yes many states will continue to move toward green energy--and they have already stated that. Trump existing the Paris Climate agreement really didn't do anything--except he managed to make an Ass Clown out of himself.

But what's funny is you're quoting the constitution & Trump in the same sentence who stated that the Constitution is a very bad thing for this country--

Trump’s primary problem with the Constitution is not unlike Franklin Roosevelt’s: It limits presidential power. He said in an interview with Fox News marking the first 100 days of his presidency that the whole American system of government is “a very rough system, an archaic system,” adding that “it’s a really bad thing for the country.”

You have elected a clown and he has brought a yuuuuuge circus with him.

President Trump might literally go down as the greatest U.S. President of all time. Even progressives are forced to acknowledge that his first year has been nothing short of exceptional.
A year later, Douthat is surprised — and impressed — by Trump’s performance: “[F]or now, the Trump administration’s approach to the Middle East has been moderately successful, and indeed close to what I would have hoped for from a normal Republican president following a realist-internationalist course.”
Even progressives are marveling over what real leadership looks like after 8 years of Barack Insane Obama’s limp-wristed cowardice.

Which merely proves that President Trump has restored constitutional government (hence the preside of this thread). Talk about winning!!!

Look at Trump through the historian's eyes, the historians that rate the presidents after they have finished their terms. Will the historians see the same president as conservative posters?

That depends...will your so-called “historians” be little whiny progressive bitches who are far more concerned over what the man tweets than what he achieves?

If so...then no. However, if they are objective, true historians - then absolutely.

President Trump has had unquestionably the most impressive first year in office of any president in the modern era...
  1. Cut corporate and individual taxes.
  2. Repeal the Obamacare individual mandate.
  3. Appoint a highly-respected conservative to the Supreme Court.
  4. Appoint a one-year record number of judges to the circuit courts.
  5. Get rid of reams of unnecessary regulations.
  6. Destroy ISIS.
  7. Approve pipeline projects and new oil drilling.
This list doesn’t even include how President Trump has secured the border, created over a million jobs, oversaw record numbers on the stock exchange, renegotiated trade agreements to favor the U.S., restored power to the states, or returned constitutional government at the federal level (among other things).

If TJ figured we could tax Americans to buy part of the continent from the French, I'm pretty sure he'd be ok with limiting CO2 emissions. But Trump's potus so .....
I think Thomas Jefferson would probably punch you in the nose for such an Idiotic Statement.

He promised to “drain the swamp” and he is delivering on that in a very big way. The corruption in the EPA and the politicization of the EPA was repulsive. So glad to see they are cleaning up the correction and relying on real science finally.
Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt may be just a lawyer, but so far he has done more to bring sound science to the EPA than any scientist ever affiliated with the agency.
This repulsive organization shouldn’t even exist as the people (by way of the U.S. Constitution) never gave the federal government authority over the environment. But until a president comes in and shuts the damn thing down, the least the American people deserve is an organization that is free from corruption and relying on actual science rather than political activists posing as scientists.

You seem awfully desperate to suck Donald's dick. Trust me, that is not the one you want. Donald Trump isn't a savior. He didn't bring the country back from some kind of constitutional dark ages where we were suppressed by the tyranny of a mad king. You just like him a lot and can't seem to pry our lips off his balls.

You seem awfully desperate to suck Donald's dick.
Actually, I just speak the truth. I have made many posts about how awful he is, right here on USMB. Which actually proves that you are awfully desperate violate President Trump due to your ignorance of his policies and irrational hate of him. :dunno:

Actually, that’s exactly what he did. Barack Insane Obama was a maniacal tyrant who ruled by executive fiat. President Trump has revoked all of Obama’s illegal, unconstitutional orders and restored power to the states (where it belongs).

I love it. This is the ultimate in winning.
After decades of neglect, a federalism bandwagon is rolling across the country, carrying not only conservatives who have long believed in states' rights, but also gathering up progressives who are out of power in Washington and have rediscovered the appeal of localism. In fact, many of today's big political battles are, at their base, a federalism tug of war pitting the federal government against state and local governments.
So the people who have nothing but contempt and disgust for the U.S. Constitution are now sprinting towards it out of fear of President Trump (much like how illegals are self-deporting over fear of him).

The sad part is, we could have had a century of peace and prosperity if progressives hadn’t destroyed the U.S. Constitution in the 1900’s. The left could have had socialism in San Francisco while the right could have enjoyed conservative liberty in Dallas.

Democrats finally discover federalism

BOTH of his Executive Orders were 1,000% constitutional and the Supreme Court will uphold them.
No, Rotty old sock, they weren't...which is why numerous judges have ruled it unconstitutional.
Exactly like I told you, Seawytch. This is why progressives (who have never read the U.S. Constitution) shouldn’t argue with conservatives (who actually do read the U.S. Constitution).
Ruling in Trump v. Hawaii, the high court upheld the travel ban in its entirety
A. It wasn’t a “muslim” ban (that’s not even remotely possible as there as absolutely no way to ascertain a person’s religion) and

B. Every last facet about President Trump’s travel ban was 100% constitutional - from his legal authority to invoke it to the language of it (and everything in between).

Supreme Court’s travel ban decision sends an incredible (and clear) message to lower federal court judges

He's right, the media is completely dishonest. He will defeat them...

Stupefying how many armchair pundits are completely ignorant of this little gem....

According to them, when he said that he said wanted to stop Muslims coming into the US well...that means nothing.
So there you have it...the Supreme Court has ruled that you can't believe anything Trump says.

I can't believe you're stupid enough to think Trump values the constitution despite all the crap he has said about it.
I honestly can't believe you're so stupid that you literally do not understand the premise of this thread. Oh wait - yes I can. Because like all progressives, you read the headline and commented without reading the post or the argument. Too bad for you. Just makes you look stupid.
Um okay. So does that mean you agree Trump doesn't give a shit about core values in the constitution?
Well....he does care a billion times more than any Dumbocrat in the U.S. today. At least he doesn't hate the U.S. Constitution like Barack Insane Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, Harry Reid, etc. But the main premise of this thread (which you completely missed) is that progressives so fear President Trump that they are doing everything at the state and local level. Which is what the constitution dictates anyway. This isn't the only case we've seen this either. There have been multiple other cases (such as California implementing their own healthcare law).
It just astounds me how you people worship someone as stupid and pathetically childish as Trump. It flat out blows my mind.

You have a mind ?
