President Trump: the man who restored constitutional government

I've listed them dozens of times and directly to you too in other threads.

Snowflake - if you've listed them before, you should have no problem naming one now. What's wrong, you incapable of remembering what you've previously stated? How hard can this be? Hell - USMB is indexed. Let the software do it for you since you are clearly too stupid to do it yourself.

I just posted the emoluments clause of the Constitution, Article 2.

Actually Trump said he would "unsign" Obamacare on day one.
Yeah....uh.....no he didn't. At least not in a literal and serious manner. You can't "unsign" and President Trump knows that.

Republicans defend that by agreeing that 99% of what Trump said was hyperbole. Not to be taken literally.

The wall - hyperbole
Make America great again - hyperbole
Repeal replace Obamacare - hyperbole
Bring back jobs - hyperbole

99% of what Trump said was hyperbole.

If you can convince society to refer to it as the AHA - I'm fine with referring to it as that. But right now, society calls that catastrophic failed legislation "Obamacare".

The rest of society can call it Obamacare. You were the one who said the president has nothing to do with legislation, so YOU have to call it AHA
I have to speak the language of the rest of society, snowflake, so that we're all on the same page and understand what is being said.

In addition - I did already explain to you why it is called "Obamacare". Barack Insane Obama violated the U.S. Constitution over and over. He took over the legislative branch like a tyrant.

I just posted the emoluments clause of the Constitution, Article 2.
He hasn't violated that, snowflake. Would you like to try again? With an actual violation this time and not the left-wing minion propaganda version? No wonder you people are addicted to fake news.

The only thing not to be taken seriously are your desperate and hilarious posts. President Trump promised to sign the bill repealing Obamacare "on Day 1". Congress failed to have that bill on his desk on Day 1. Since President Trump is not a tyrant like Barack Insane Obama, he did not forge ahead anyway. He's obeying the law. Amazing how that upsets you people so much.

The president is not allowed to have income from foreigners.

I showed how the rent Trump makes from foreigners is income under IRS regulations. The fees Trump gets from foreigners staying at his hotels is income.

And for the president, it's forbidden..

Are you going to issue a retraction?

Trump Suggests He’ll Use Executive Orders To ‘Unsign’ Obama’s Agenda

Trump Suggests He’ll Use Executive Orders To ‘Unsign’ Obama’s Agenda

In response to an audience member’s question on what a President Trump would do in his first days in office, the real estate mogul said he would like to “knock the hell” out of Obama’s signature legislation.

“In the first 100 days, we’re going to knock the hell out of Obamacare,” Trump declared

Snowflake...that is an outrageous misrepresentation. Here is what the emoluments clause actually says (not your hilarious and absurd version):
The Title of Nobility Clause is a provision in Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the United States Constitution,[1] that prohibits the federal government from granting titles of nobility, and restricts members of the government from receiving gifts, emoluments, offices or titles from foreign states without the consent of the United States Congress. Also known as the Emoluments Clause, it was designed to shield the republican character of the United States against so-called "corrupting foreign influences".
President Trump had a business before becoming President of the United States. It is 100% legal for his businesses to continue to operate. The Emoluments Clause is specifically designed to prevent people from leveraging their public office to make money (such as Hitlery Clinton did when she kept selling access to the Secretary of State in exchange for enormous donations to her Clinton Foundation - which is just a money laundering front for the Clinton's personal bank account).

President Trump is not leveraging his office to make money. His businesses were all unrelated to the Oval Office (as seen by the reality that they existed before he was ever elected and are not tied to politics in any capacity). It is completely legal for his legitimate businesses to continue to operate.

The problem is - emoluments is too big a word for you and you have no idea what it means (which is why you should stop playing armchair attorney). So now that we see this is FAKE NEWS - I would like to challenge you nitwits to produce a legitimate example of President Trump violating the U.S. Constitution.

Are you going to admit that you have a severe reading comprehension problem? It says AGENDA - not "Obamacare". If you ask an adult to read the article to you and then explain it, you will see that President Trump specifically stated that he would use Executive Orders to undo Barack Insane Obama's Executive Orders - something which is 100% constitutional. He never said he would "unsign" Obamacare (since that was passed through Congress). He says "we're going to knock the hell out of Obamacare" in the article.

Be honest - are you this ignorant or are you just being extreme disingenuous out of spite for Trump?

That's as stupid as saying if he was prime minister of canada before the election, he could continue being prime minister of canada.

After the election Trump doubled the Mar-a-lago fee from $100K to $200K
Trump also spent the next few weekends there. Letting people know if they bought into Mar-a-lago, they would be next to the president.

What's stupid is attempting to apply the Emoluments Clause where it simply doesn't apply. President Trump's hotel is making money as a hotel. It is not making money because Trump offers exclusive access to the Oval Office in exchange for booking a room there.

The clause does not forbid representatives from owning legitimate businesses. It forbids representatives from making money off of the public office/position.

Moving the goalposts now, uh? Interesting. On one hand, it means you recognize (after a rather lengthy explanation) that you were dead-wrong about Trump Hotels being a violation of the Emoluments Clause. However, on the other hand, it shows that you are desperate to pin anything on President Trump and you will keep stretching for something in that quest.

Here's the thing about your latest example - it still doesn't fall under the Emoluments Clause. If President Trump promised exclusive access to him for purchasing a membership - that would be a violation of the Emoluments Clause. He can visit and jack up the prices all he wants. None of those are violations of that clause.

Trump said that he would donate all the money is hotels makes from foreigners to the US treasury, in order to get around the emoluments clause.

Which means even Trump recognizes he's in violation.

Trump hasn't donated hotel profits from foreign governments yet

In the days before taking office, President Trump vowed that his companies would donate any profits made from foreign government patrons at his hotels to the U.S. Treasury

Almost two months into his presidency, that hasn't happened yet. The Trump Organization now says it plans to make the donation after the end of the calendar year.

The president's company has developed a policy to help identify profits from foreign government customers and donate the money, and is implementing it, spokeswoman Amanda Miller said Friday.

You're going to pull a muscle if you keep stretching like this.

The Constitution does not forbid representatives from owning legitimate businesses. It forbids them from selling their office.

He's not doing that to "get around" the Emoluments Clause. He's doing that to avoid a potential conflict of interest (something that the fake news left will inevitably accuse him of no matter what).

President Trump continues to show what a a real leader looks like. What an effective leader looks like. A government "shutdown" would be the best thing to happen to the United States as we are $20 trillion in debt and would curb spending as much as possible (obviously stuff like defense, the post office, etc. would still be running and thus funded). But the unconstitutional nonsense would stop.
After being heavily criticized for not including funding for a border wall in a previous budget bill, President Trump is said to be willing to take drastic steps to force funding in the next budget. A Freedom Caucus congressman says Trump is willing to force a government shutdown if his border wall isn’t funded.
Of course, the left can't handle that. So if they choose the other option, then the wall gets funded and built - exactly as President Trump promised. So we either get border security or a reduction in government spending. We win either way (also as President Trump promised).

Trump to take drastic steps to force Democrats to fund border wall

President Trump even resembles one of our all time greatest leaders a little bit!
