You would be right if nobody takes on the dangerous task of inciting violence on Trump's behalf. Trump has a great deal of support in the military's ranks but the government has so far effectively defused it. A military individual talking out of line will be thrown in jail unless he has 100's of backers.

The best they could do so far at least would be to not follow orders to shoot to kill, any insurrection attempt.

It's all new ground on even the history of revolutions so it's pretty hard to say what the military might do.

But it's a continuously evolving situation and once Trump has been released from custody on Tuesday, he could easily become his own loose cannon.

If he incites violence he knows that his bail could be forfeited. or much worse!
