The Presbyterian Church in Ireland has adopted a new policy that means anyone in a same-sex relationship cannot be a full member of the Church.

It also means their children cannot be baptised.

The move comes after the Church cut ceremonial ties with the Church of Scotland due to its more liberal attitude to same-sex relationships.

It may help if you could answer these questions:

1. Catholics, and it appears Presbyterians as well, teach and believe marriage is between one man and one woman. If a gay couple holds a different belief, why would they want to join a denomination that does not hold to their belief?

2. Baptizing a child in the Catholic faith means agreeing to teach and raise the child in the Catholic faith. Why would a gay couple raise their child with the belief that marriage is only between a man and a woman?

3. Gay couples can be married in civil ceremonies, by some churches, by anyone who gets an online marriage license. No license is needed to baptize one's old child. Why would a gay couple want their child baptized by a Presbyterian minister or a Catholic priest when they can baptize the child themselves?

Do you want a New Testament verse:

Romans 1:21-27
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified himnot as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleannessthrough the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Do they ban divorcees? Furthermore, who among them hasn't sinned? Church and Jesus is for sinners, and we're ALL sinners.

Plenty of other churches. They all pick and choose whatever they want to follow anyways.

So you can't poke but you can still love.

Some dip hawaiian bread in grape juice. It’s delicious. Try it as munchies one day.

And pretend it's real blood and flesh, a rather ghoulish enterprise I'd say.
