I'm sure I'm not the only one that notices when something happens there are a lot of people that say "I knew that was going to happen", or some other form of saying we all knew it was coming. Funny thing is, despite these fortune telling abilities, at least 9 out of 10 times nobody bothers saying anything about it before it happens.

Well, here's your chance. What do you think is going to happen in the calendar year of 2006? Politics, sports, entertainment, the world at large. If it's so obvious it's going to happen, let the rest of us in on it.

I'm going to save mine for a bit. First, I want to see how much interest there is in it. Second, time snuck up on me and I gotta go.

Have fun with it.

Unless there are sudden changes, the Republicans are going to keep or extend their lead in both houses of Congress. Not because of what they've done, but because of the Democratic leadership.

Someone will get banned from USMB.

It will rain in the PNW.

We'll have Congressional elections.

We will celebrate the US's 230th birthday.

And the SEAHAWKS will win the Super Bowl!

USC will beat Texas in the Rose Bowl and win their third National Championship in a row. Even though I went to UCLA, I will pull for USC against the Longhorns. Mess with Texas!

If there is a God, then Duke will not win the NCAA basketball title.

The White Sox will not repeat as World Series champions. Sorry Beantown, it will be the Bronx Bombers.

Alito will be confirmed to the Supreme Court.

Deficits will continue

The Dems will go too far and the filibuster rule will be changed

Independent movie studios will continue taking market share from the mainstream Hollywood movie studios

The MSM will continue its decline

The first of the baby boomers retire, which renews the political discussion on pension reform and privatizing Social Security

The first troop withdrawals from Iraq

Saddam Hussein will be convicted of crimes against humanity and executed

The Israelis take out the Iranian nuke program

Pope Benedict ruffles some feathers on gay marriage and abortion (so what else is new?)

Peter Jackson starts work on "The Hobbit"

Linux continues taking market share from Microsoft

The French finally wise up and start fighting the War on Terror.

The United States considers leaving the United Nations and setting up an independent alliance of freedom loving countries.

And from the "don't I wish!!!!!" department

I finally get a dry basement

Bill Clinton does commercials either for Viagra, Cialis or else, a cigar company

Hillary Clinton gets religion, admits to committing crimes, goes to jail, then swears an oath of obedience, poverty and chastity and becomes a nun. She eventually fills in for Mother Angelica on EWTN

Kim Jong Il is visited by three ghosts on Christmas Eve (Stalin, Reagan, and Groucho Marx), they warn him of his fate should he keep acting the part of the world's biggest asshole. He quits politics and becomes the Dalai Lama's valet.

a unknown entity...............
Israel will retaliate against Iran...
The US will be obligated to unleash the Nukes..
Iran will receive the support of China and the USSR(Russia)
A comet will be destroyed on it's target Earth by the US...so 2012 will be saved from Earths destruction!
someone will not be banned on the USMB as predicted... do to false accusations! However the accuser will be demoted!

USMB will hire me for 100k (I’ll take less) to kill all Trolls on first type.
Hey, I’m all for free speech, but I love to kill.

Other than that, same old, same old. :D

Wow. I was going to say this same thing.

Also, Angelina and Brad will get divorced. So will Julia Roberts as she attempts a comeback.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to predict these:

1. The bickering in Washington, D.C. will continue. Things will not get better in this area until ordinary citizens get tired of it and let their elected reps know--probably through the ballot box, but other ways are available as well--that they were sent to Washington to take care of the nation's urgent business rather than spending their time primarily to build political power. Wish I could forecast when that might occur!

2. The MSM will continue its investigation for stories they think will topple the Bush presidency.

3. The MSM will work feverishly to get Democrats elected in 2006.

4. Freedom-loving people in the non-free countries will continue to be subjected to severe persecution when they speak out. Minimal news coverage will be given to this persecution in the MSM.

I saw Angelina Jolie's lesbian ex... wow... she certainly doesn't like them feminine looking, does she? Definitely not an attractive woman... more like the sort that bays at the moon....
