I would disagree with that assessment. People died & massive property damage was the result of 9/11. well we are comparing two completely different events that changed America. 9/11 was the worst, it put a hold on my life, not knowing what to do, eventually i got over it a few years later, life was happy again, all was well until the democrats crashed the economy in 2008, its been rather miserable since then, then Obama won in 2008 and then i knew our lives as we knew it was over.I would disagree with that assessment. I kind of expected Obama's presidency to be mostly hype and little substance.
hillary winning will crash the markets.While 9/11 was an external attack, the Obama debacle was self inflicted. Whether it will have been worth electing our first (and maybe last) Black President remains to be seen. What I fear is that the 2016 election may institutionalize our march towards a South American-style federal government. Hillary's cult following is eerily similar to Eva Peron's in the 1950's.

Obama winning in 2012 for many of us was the worst emotional, gut wrenching event of our lifetime, so much more depressing than the events of 9/11.
