POLL: Cain, Romney and Perry all beat Obama

I am amused in a sickened way by the people who support Obama and don't even keep track of his speeches. No one yelled "you lie" at a State of the Union address.

Or, just sick, in an amusing way.

I'm more sickened at those who actually want to turn a deaf ear and a blind eye, to those who caused the problem we are in right now, while all of a sudden, being those who supposedly have all the answers when no solution was forthcoming from any of them when we needed it most, between 2000 and 2008.

At least Clinton, left Republican leadership and multi-hundred billion dollar projected surplus when he left office. What did Republican leadership do that that? They blew it on an illegal war that lacked any righteous causation or justification. In fact, they blew it on a total lie about a nonexistent threat to national security. That same leadership proceeded to get hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women and children in Iraq/Afghanistan, killed for no reason whatsoever other than transnational oil contracts - period.

Take that up with all of the Democrats that voted for the Iraq/Afghanistan wars. After all, they did have complete control of the House and the Senate.

Yet, you can hold such disdain for Obama, when he was wise enough to speak out against the invasion in the first instance.

How do you defend this?

On December 1, 2009, President Barack Obama announced at The United States Military Academy at Westpoint that the U.S will be sending 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan.

That resulted in this!

In 2008, 155 U.S. service members died in Afghanistan. As 2009 drew to a close, the year's tally stood at 318, according to icasualties.org, an independent website that tracks troop fatalities in Afghanistan and Iraq. That tally did not include seven CIA personnel who were killed in an audacious insurgent strike Wednesday on their base in eastern Afghanistan.

The number of US troops KIA in 2010 rose to 499.

But Obama seldom misses a golf outing.

Face it - you dislike Obama, for "other reasons" that have no logical connection to his policies as President in the aggregate. There might be one or two policy missteps that he needs to account for, but on whole, he has done nearly precisely what he needed to do as President, given the last minute hurricane that came in the form of the global economic meltdown just before I got elected.

The Obamacrat Jobs Disaster

We were creating lots of jobs that were out-pacing the population workforce growth rate until the DEMOCRATS were elected in 2006 & took control January 2007. The jobs creation machine went off the rails 3 months after these assholes took power. A year & 3 months later the jobs train went off the cliff. Their socialistic wet dream that has turned into a nightmare for the now unemployed.

And how did they cause it? Specifically.

I actually blame that graph on those who want to keep oppression going because they do not want to be accountable. "Just give me back a good ole boy GW type that we can boon swagggle into relaxing any all regulations so we can continue fleecing the sheep."

It would be a very sad day if Americans elected Cain or Perry. they make Bush almost look smart.

Yes indeed! They even make him look presidential.

That is a key to the Republican field. There is a lack of candidates who look and act "presidential". Romney is the only one who consistently acts mature and avoids the "I can't believe he really said that" moments

You know what? I am ***Independent** who has voted conservative since Reagan. I even voted for sorry ass Romney for governor of MA. But...ya'all showed your colors true & clear with your f'in TARP generated by Bush & what's his GW Treasury Secretary. The came Obama's stimulus that primarily just propped up local geovernments at the expense of the spending private sector. with the end result being the big squeeze that you all ae complaining about. So in my view the TARP shit was the greater sin so you all can go suck air and hope you get some.

Do any of you really think this country wants 4 more years of this? Why would any-one consider the path this country is on a path we need to continue on?
I wrote a thread some time ago that was simple and made this simple statement, Its not about Obama anymore

I really believe this still today. I wrote anther thread that simply made the statement if I was a democrat I would be angry. I still feel that way

Obama is done people. we have lost 6 million jobs and have spent 4 trillion dollars we do not have to get this end game.
Obama has done an outstanding job using the tools Bush left him to fight terror, other than that this was a mistake and most every-one knows it

The tea party is a sleeping giant, the 2010 election proved that. The liberals on this message board are wasting there energy with negative and at times down right ugly commentary, they know the end is near

Romney is not a choice. Right now our next president is either H. Cain ot Rick Perry. people know its time for this experiment to end.

The company I have worked for 5 years has gave up on work here in this country and as we speak have begun to move us in numbers by the 100s to build the widgets and gidgets it will take to extract oil shale in canada, Jobs lost to our northern faimily for no other reason than we are not allowed to do the same here
This event will effect 1000s of lives just within the teams I work with and 1000s of other lives that support those teams

what part of these events do any of you liberals think we can allow to go on? in 2012 we shall see them end. This is why romney will be gone by Feb of 2012 and when the smoke clears either Cain or Perry will be nominated and then elected our next president

Very passionate...

Unfortunately, neither Perry nor Cain are capable of defeating Obama. They are lightweight candidates and no matter how much you hate Obama, he is a formidable opponent and they are not in his league

Romney has shown he is the only mature candidate in the bunch. Allowing the Tea Baggers to throw one pretender after another and just shirking them off. With a bad economy, Romney could defeat Obama as long as the TeaTards don't saddle him with a Palin clone as VP

Hate is a word I do not understand, espicially our president. My intenet along with my message has never nor will you ever see the word hate

Now when it comes to Cain as well as Perry
Texas is no small state, becoming a 3rd term gov. of that state is no matter for a small fry

Herman Cain has made choices that had an impact on 1000s of jobs, The DOD if he becomes president will take of the reest as they have for Obama, with of course from help of the CIA and FBI

Fact finder GWB only mistake with tarp was GM and Crysler, I feel as though if Obama is not in office in 6 weeks he loans them no money as it was the intent by March they were to gop chapter 7 It would have seemed, with that said he nade that mistake, no other with tarp

Tarp saved trillions in 401Ks, middle class people who would have been the ones who lost those trillions
We got that cash back except for GM, Chrysler and GM in months. GM and Chrysler should have went 7 instead of 11 and we would have got that back

No question that Perry came into the race with heavyweight credentials and initial polling supported that. In the weeks since, he has shown himself to be shaky on national issues and his lack of preparedness is embarrassing. I don't know if is laziness or stupidity....but there is no excuse

I still am not overwhelmed by Cains business credentials. There are thousands of businessmen with a more impressive resume. His hatred of Muslims and gays is obvious and does not bode well on the national and international stage. His 9-9-9 plan is simplistic and he is not doing well defending it

I'm not seeing much hatred of gays and as to Muslims....meh, not as if he can do anything with the 1st amendment.

Besides your comparing these two men to Obama. How bad is that?

We have 6 million jobs fewer than we had in 2008 and we have spent 4 trillion dollars added to our debt sense

I guess what amazes me is so many talk about Pery who has added 1 million jobs to the Texas economy while at the same time had a suplus in the states money pool to balance the budget for this year as though he is "shaky"

with respect to your thread I think what your seeing is confidence in his record that when its time will rise to the top.

Just my opinion

I think Romney put it best

Perry is a guy who was dealt four aces and then claims to be a great poker player

Most of the jobs Perry takes credit for were either government jobs or from the oil industry. They had nothing to do with anything Perry did as governor

Many of the jobs were minimum wage and many went to illegal immigrants. The middle class lost purchasing power during the decade in Texas. Perry is hollow.

I could not agree with you more on the oil sector side. So having an oil friendly president that could help create millions of jobs as well as trim 100s of billion's off of the deficit and would support THE event along with major tax reform that would allow the housing sector time to re build is a bad thing?

Perry is hollow, JRK, as is your defense of neo-con imperalism. Perry will not be the candidate.

Interesting theory

Can you point to specific legislation passed by the Democrats that caused the loss of all those jobs? Otherwise, what supports your theory?

Democrats like picking winners and losers. They are Crony Socialists. They create a false problem & new regulation to kill the free market economy. Then they hire their Cronies (or give them government loan guarantees) to "solve" the problem or "help" other companies comply with the new regulations. The Cronies then make large donations to Democrats and their PAC's. It's the same scam they've been running for 70 years.

Democrats know regulations kill jobs & are proud of it.

CNBC Interview of Democrat Senator Barney Frank
Barney Frank - "I think that the financial sector included an element of activity that was not terribly productive. And while we didn't exclusively ban it, if the effect of regulating it better, saying you can't sell..."

Andrew Ross Sorkin -"But less jobs at a time when people want more jobs, correct?"

Barney Frank - "Yes. And that is when you stop an activity. Look, if you knock off drug dealers you'll have fewer jobs. These are not drug dealers. I don't think make work makes sense for the federal government. I don't think it makes sense in the private sector"... "If the effect of better regulation, of requiring people to post capital is that there are then going to be fewer people doing some of the activities that I don't think were especially useful that is a reasonable price"

Nice try.......but FAIL

You fail to provide any legislation passed by democrats that would lead to the loss of 10 million jobs. Using your favorite homosexual whipping boy is not the answer. Don't you ever tire of playing both sides of the fence?

What was it? Too much regulation of the financial sector or too little regulation?

We are currently operating under the job killing Dodd Frank regulations right now & just look at todays headlines. Ex-Goldman Sachs Chief / Ex-New Jersey Democrat Governor - Jon Corzine just bankrupted MF Global.

So obviously those job killing regulations are not working.
