Political Correctness=worst form of CENSORSHIP in human history!

Political Correctness is the embodiment of Orwell's newspeak and as such I say it is the most evil/vile form of censorship in the history of humanity bc it is seemingly well intended but it actually KILLS people....

Want a simple example?

The HIV Pandemic has killed over 50 million people globally yet back in 1982 when it was believed to be 100% fatal and there were only a few dozen cases the CDC could have chosen to quarantine everyone with this strange new 100% fatal illness....instead they caved to POLITICAL CORRECTNESS and now over 50 MILLION people have died from HIV....Now if they had chosen to quarantine those initial cases it is possible it could have been stopped but we will never know.....What we do know is that CUBA has the lowest HIV rate in the western hemisphere bc they QUARANTINE anyone with HIV!

Cuba doesn't have the lowest HIV rate in the western hemisphere - they have the lowest REPORTED HIV rate. Because when you get quarantined if you go to the doctor, people are gonna stop going to the doctor. I'd be VERY surprised if the real rate wasn't much higher than what the Cuban government is reporting.

First of all, you need to present evidence that some kind of pressure to be politically correct contributed to decision making by the CDC with regards to the way they handled early cases of HIV infection.

Second, if you were well familiar with HIV and AIDS you'd know that people getting sick in the early 80s had probably been sick for years. Trying to quarantine them when the sickness had been discovered would have been of no effect. The virus was already well established in the human population by that time.

Third, you need to provide evidence that Cuba's quarantine policies actually have an effect on HIV rates. Good sense says that it's more likely that Cuba's naturally (politically) existing state of semi-quarantine shelter it from large scale HIV introduction. Also factor in that Cuba has a universal health care system that would allow all people easy access to screenings and treatment. Oh snap! Maybe the US should adopt a universal health care system. Maybe THAT is the reason so many people here have AIDS.

Fourth, trying to rely on a single abstractly derived example does not support your premise that "political correctness" kills. All you've done is establish that HIV infection often kills.

Who do you think you are kidding? Anyone who was alive then knows it happened so you can try to rewrite history all you want but if you know ANYTHING about medicine then you should know the normal way of dealing with a new fatal disease appearing is/was QUARANTINE (prior to the HTLV/HIV pandemic) & the primary reason the early cases weren't quarantined was due to pressure from the left. You can say it isn't so but you are either lying or too young to know about it.

100% absolutely false statement....

the earlier you quarantine people with a contagious disease the better but even if you quarantine them late in the disease it still prevents it from being spread....quarantining the 50 million or more people who have it now isn't practical...quarantining when there were only a few dozen or even a few hundred cases (say 1982ish) could have saved MILLIONS OF LIVES so stop LYING!

In 2002 Cuba's HIV rate was 11 times lower than the USA....etc

the US populace was spoonfed a bunch of lies by Dick N Bush to justify war in IRAQ...Supporting their actions post 911 was the POLITICALLY CORRECT thing to do and so the USA invaded Iraq KILLING way to many people for no good reason....The political correctness of the US public + the US Congress is what KILLED them.....
