Point #3 of Trump's HCP; Doesn't that equal the "free shit" you guys hate?

One widely cited 1996 study by Dennis Capozza, Richard Green, and Patric Hendershott estimated that eliminating the mortgage interest and property tax deductions would reduce housing prices in the short term by an average of 13 percent nationwide, with regional changes ranging from 8 to 27 percent.

Your MID is cancelled out by higher home prices. You gain nothing.

Who benefits from higher home prices? Bankers, brokers, realtors, and home builders.

In other words, your "deduction" is being taken from your pocket and transferred into the pockets of bankers, brokers, realtors, and home builders.

Retards. That's why that real estate lobby spends over $100 million a year in Washington to keep the MID alive. They profit from the MID to the tune of $95 BILLION a year.

Suckers.

I don't think he comprehends that the government considers ALL of our income as theirs. So when they allow us to KEEP our income by allowing deductions like
mortgage interest it still isn't "FREE SHIT"....
I don't think you comprehend your deduction has to be made up for by someone else. So it most certainly is FREE SHIT paid for by someone else.

Everyone else has to pay MORE taxes to make up for your free shit (deduction).
And you don't understand accounting much less tax payments.

The federal government DOES NOT have a fixed amount of money coming in would you agree?
In other words it is based on taxes calculated by the people paying their taxes.
So how is a tax deduction ever considered "free shit"?
NOW FREE SHIT is when the government pays your cell phone bill as I imagine it does right now. And it pays your rent under section 8 plus you free food is paid
by the government. NOW that is "free shit"!
See post 49.

There's a reason deductions, credits, and exemptions are called tax expenditures by the experts.

Your deduction is free shit. In fact, it is far more costly than traditional welfare like food stamps and Obamaphones.

Tax expenditures cost taxpayers $1.2 trillion a year, whereas welfare costs taxpayers half as much at $600 billion.

They are called "expenditures" by demagogues who want to increase taxes.

Nope. If we ban tax expenditures, we would reduce EVERYONE's tax rates.

We are paying higher tax rates to make up for the $1.2 trillion in free shit given away in the form of deductions, exemptions, and credits every year.

$1.2 trillion of government transfer of wealth up the food chain.

This is one of the many methods by which the unnatural concentration of wealth is achieved legislatively of which I have frequently spoken.

Here is a quote from another thread:

Point #3: Allow individuals to fully deduct health insurance premium payments from their tax returns under the current tax system.

That is the same as saying its going to be free insurance; paid for by the US Government.

How is this any different than the "free shit" from the government you guys have been railing against for 8 years?

I'm asking those who have deemed Trump their messiah:

NO, it doesn't.

The government doesn't have the right to keep our money.

Now, it would be far better to allow healthcare to be managed by the Free Market Place. Since government regulations and mismanagement is what caused healthcare to be prohibitively expensive then it is reasonable to allow taxpayers and producers to deductive the premiums from their "income" taxes.

Furthermore, the evidence clearly shows that the sixteenth Amendment was never lawfully adopted - it is one more socialist scam to steal our money.

.

The government doesn't have the right to keep our money.
.

When the government gives you a deduction, they go and grab someone else's money to make up the difference. That is the full equation.

It's as simple as that.

This truth evades retards. They only see half the equation and then stab themselves in the eyes to avoid seeing the theft of another person which takes place to give them their government gift.

Trump's deduction is a subsidy.

If a democrat proposed this it would be terrible.

The best way to abolish so-called "tax expenditures" is to abolish the income tax. Anything short of that, and it will only be a matter of time until the tax code is infested with new ones.

It does not matter what kind of tax scheme we have, tax expenditures can corrupt any of them.

Sales tax? Can be undermined by exempting puppies and yachts.

You have to ban tax expenditures.

You have $100 in expenses. You charge your two taxpayers $50 each.

Balanced budget.

But next year, you give one taxpayer a $20 deduction for performing like a well-behaved monkey, and he pays only $30. He's out there jumping for joy, telling the world this is a virtuous behavioral control program. "I get to keep more of my own money! That money was mine anyways."

He is completely oblivious to the fact the second taxpayer is now going to have to pay $70 in taxes to keep the budget balanced.

That is why your deductions are free shit. That $20 deduction came out of the other taxpayer's pocket. And you have an inequitable system where identical taxpayers are paying radically different amounts of tax.

Get it now, retards?
It's only free shit in the minds of people like you who think the money you earn belongs to the government in the first place and not the person who earns it.
You really are stupid.

I dumbed it down as much as possible, and you didn't read a word, did you.

Your deductions are paid for out of the pockets of other people. They are paying higher taxes to pay for your deduction. That makes you a leech.

And just like any other government gift sucking leech, you are defending your free shit with willful denial. "Mine! Mine! Mine!"
Again, you think all money belongs to the government. You are the stupid one. And you wouldn't think that way if you actually worked for a living instead of demanding government confiscate someone ELSE'S earnings to subsidize your lazy ass.

And you don't understand accounting much less tax payments.

You have to ban tax expenditures.

When have yachts ever been exempted? If we look at how sales taxes operate in the states, we can see that it has much fewer problems than an income tax. It is orders of magnitude less complicated, and no one gets out of paying it. So long as you have an income tax, you will have corporations and industries lobbying Congress to carve out "tax expenditures."
