the mall is about 5 minutes from me. the high school, 10 or so. i don't believe he spent the money on weapons, but he did prepay for a credit card to buy weapons with - so the FBI is getting smarter about this i hope. but from what i understand, they met with him at a hotel near the mall and even scoped the mall out with him to gauge intent.

it was during all this they were able to stop him from shooting up the school.
