Petraeus Scandal Could Bring Obama Down

The topic was the polls, dipshit, not who would win the election. I never predicted a Romney win and you can't find a post where I did. I know there are plenty of stupid people like you out there who will vote for socialism not understanding the consequences, and I didn't expect any of you to get any smarter prior to the election. ;) So, it actually turned out exactly as I thought it would. I understand that all you have is lies, but seriously dude, you would think you could stumble over the truth every once in a while.

Wait for the spin....

Can't say Ravi didn't warn me.

XXXXXXX

Need someone else to fight your fights for you asswipe? Show my post where I said Romney would win.

It's right above your denial. Have someone read it to you.

Don't you ever get tired of performing microsurgery on the hairs you're trying to split?

Whining??? There was nothing even close to whining in my post, you friggin' lunatic!!!

Really?? Whom did he fire??

Hey Dumbo, learn the proper usage of a word before you make a bigger ass of yourself.

I'd match my smarts to yours any day of the week, you idiot. Why don't you answer the question instead of making dumb remarks?? Because you have no answer?? That's par for the course for you.
The Sec'ys of State, Treasury, Defense and the Press Sec'y have all been informed their services will no longer be required. In other words, Fired...And please, don't go posting some nonsense press releases from the White House making these firings seem all nice.
You'd match your smarts against anyone and LOSE.
In fact, Truthmatter's little doggie in her avatar knows when it's time to go out to pee. You'd just piss the carpet.
You are close to the least intelligent person who uses this site. I think you again sheila, and truthmatters should start a checkers club for people with lower than room temperature IQ's.

The more the sex-scandal unfurls, the dumber the Republicans here look for proclaiming it was a vast conspiracy about ... something.

The real problem with Petraus was how he went all-out in turning the CIA into another branch of the military, one which can operate without any of the constraints under which the regular military operates. No one wants to talk about that. And if I were conspiracy driven, I could say the sex scandal was manufactured to divert attention from that ...

given that they got their butts kicked...and still haven't a clue as to why, they're flailing and need to fauxrage about something...

anything...

that's what the wacko's do.
What the hell are you yammering about?

I don't think it will happen but the timing of all of this seems really convenient for the President does it not? Not even a peep and now we have what is, at least, a four person scandal involving the CIA director and the nominee to become the head of NATO. I almost forgot the FBI agent.

It would seem really remarkable that all of this took place prior to the FBI vetting of General Petraeus for the top slot at the CIA so we have that failure as well.

And there may be the smoking gun; if the FBI reported it to the President and the Senate body that held his confirmation hearings and these men simply ignored it...this should blow up in all of their faces and let the chips fall where they may. If the FBI didn't know it, that is in some light an even greater scandal.

Again, I do not think it happened but it sure sounds like a case of either the FBI dropping the ball or the White House and Senate leadership looking the other way.

It's clearly noted that Hillary Clinton and Leon Panneta are both out of country touring Australia right now----:lol: There's a reason for that.

If General Pretraeous decides he's going to tell the TRUTH on this Bengazi incident--he perger's himself in prior testimony where his story coincided with Hillary Clinton. BUT--since he is no longer CIA chief and talks about the coverup on this incident--he will take the Obama administration from top to bottom with him. We'll see tomorrow who more loyal he feels to--(the soldiers he was assigned to protect--along with the American population or the Obama administration.) General Petraeous has nothing to lose now--his reputation has already been trashed--if he sings like a canary tomorrow during the cough-cough 'closed door' testimony he regains his status as an American hero. If he contradicts his CIA assistant chief who stated under sworn testimony that they knew that this was a terrorist attack within 2 hours--and continually goes off on this utube video has reason for this attack--General Petraeous finally earns the name that liberals gave him in Iraq--General Betrayouse.

I don't care what you think. So quit trying to get off the topic. Where are some links to prove what you're saying about all of these firings??

I find it quite odd that the left hasn't held Obama accountable for anything since his inauguration and now all the sudden you consider this?

I've held him responsible for things on more than one ocassion. I've cited that "Too big to fail" banks are still too big to fail, I said that he should have included vision and dental in the ACA, I didn't see where the government can make you buy insurance, and I said iIt was a mistake for the President to get involved in the Ried/Romney income tax issue. Look it up. Others are, in deed, slow to cite the obvious shortcomings and failures of this Administration.

As for this; if the Executive or the Senate knew Petraeus was having an affair and still nominated/confirmed him, I don't see how the Presidency is kept in tact. If the affair was after the confirmation, it's a tiny bit of a different matter in my view because the vetting was over. Small but important I'd say because it doesn't impune the process; just the man.

Still, the timing looks very bad for Obama not knowing and finding out on or near Election Day. Coincidences can happen but this seems awlfully convenient.

-----

What is more odd is that many on the right thought Governor Romney ran a good campaign right up until the returns came in. If you're looking for intellecutal dishonesty, canvas your own flock.

I guess the "reason" is that House Republicans can't read a calendar?

BUT--since he is no longer CIA chief and talks about the coverup on this incident--he will take the Obama administration from top to bottom with him.
Not sure how he does that since as far as I know, he wasn't sworn in earlier.

Well, I don't know what part of that was supposed to be coherent or useful. I will say this; the matters are separate. Ben Gotcha isn't going anywhere and the GOP knows it; much like they knew Romney was going down in flames but couldn't bring themselves to admit it.

As for the General's testimony, I think he'll report on his investigation honestly.

Get used to the term "whitewash"; you guys are going to be using it quite a bit.

I just hope we hear about what happens behind those closed doors of the hearings. We need honesty and Hillary present for testimoney as well. If she continues to avoid being subpeonaed, I'd say that would reflect on her chances of being elected to anything in 2016.

If only the GOP House could look at a calendar...:eusa_shifty:

But by all means, blame the SoS for their shoddy work.

Eight of the top ten states that get more than they give from the Federal Government voted for Governor Romney. Apparently the cash registers in the red states are ringing more often than in most of the blue states.

Oh ,there you go confusing them with FACTS.

Well, in fairness, the "getting money from the federal government" can take many forms; National Parks, military bases, interstate highways, etc... But if you look at one of the states (Alabama), it's hard to say, well, I-10 and I-20 are quite expensive but not in Texas (a payer state barely) where it goes on for quite a further distance.

'Bama is picking our pocket.

And if President bush were still president, wonder how long it would take the libs to try and bring him down or call for his impeachment? :eusa_think:

If Bush were still President, I honestly don't think anyone would have noticed four dead. Enough American blood was spilled for no reason during his presidency to turn the Red Sea and several other seas actually red. Obama's administration has been a different story so the flashes of violence against Americans stand out far more easily I suppose.

Nobody cares much about Ben Gotcha except for butt hurt GOP dolts who are on their daily smear-quest.

This is a bitch fight over who is the most popular soc girl at Tampa Command: nothing more.

The nice thing is both ladies are non persona grata now. Stupid girls get what stupid girls deserve.

The Petreaus scandal was manufactured so that he could avoid giving testimony about Benghazi.

You mean the testimony he is scheduled to give exactly as I said he would.

If you think Patreus is going to tell the truth, you're nuts.
Patreus has been told what to say. Susan Rice has already been saved by Obama because she towed the company line. If Patreus cooperates by doing and saying nothing to make Obama look bad, he will be rewarded.

DO not ever be so presumptuous as to believe you may use the word "think" in the first person.
You know God damned well if the president were GOP the MSM would be all over this.
Instead, they buried the story. No doubt at the request of the White House.
With this administration, here's how it works. If one wishes to keep their White House press credential, you report what you are told to report.
