I bet basquebromance knows this one.

I don't know how well the film did when it was first released, but last night I watched for the first time in forever one of my most favorite films: Frequency starring Dennis Quaid and Jim Caviezel. :) :) :)

God bless you and them always!!!

That was a good movie.
It played on HBO for decades

Blockbuster or or not here are some of my movies I consider perfect.

These are movies where the characters are well done, the story is well told, the direction is above average and fits the film, the music is fitting for the movie, the ending is exactly what the movie needed, editing is solid and it's just overall a movie that's a pleasure to watch and I have no complaints.

Return of the living dead.

Empire strikes back.

Raiders of the lost ark.

Pulp fiction.

Fight club.

Tampopo.

The house that jack built.

Aliens.

Terminator.

Oldboy (original not that remake junk).

The thing (john carpenter).

Big trouble in little china.

Casino.

Jaws.

The cook, the thief, the wife and her lover.

The innocents.

Here is one....

John Wick.....the first movie was a perfect movie......the last two, and likely the next one, were all just "more," not "better."

But the first John Wick was a perfect, small movie.....rewatchable whenever it is on.........that scene in the pool room of the night club is great..........
