There is nothing in the US Constitution about HOW the House shall conduct Impeachment of the President.

Everything that the House of Representatives is doing, related to this Impeachment Inquiry, is, indeed, 'constitutional'.

Now... whether it's Smart Politics, to withhold a broader House vote on commencing the Inquiry, well, that's another matter.

Dems can be every bit as Optics-Blind as the Pubs - in their own foolish way.

Nancy has not lodged a formal impeachment inquiry. So far her impeachment efforts are meaningless propaganda.

Our recent impeachments (Nixon, Clinton) were formal and the defendants were allowed to call witnesses, etc. There is precedent. Nancy is ignoring the Constitution and legal precedence. 1. cite the passage in the US Constitution where it stipulates that the House must vote on whether to BEGIN an impeachment inquiry, or...

2. cite the rule in the Rules of the US House of Representatives where it stipulates that the House must conduct a vote on whether to BEGIN...
