How does mocking someone for trying to do something prove anything?

By the fruits you shall know them. Mocking someone is a fruit of pride. Pride is not the fruit of God. God teaches us to be humble. Humble is continuing to try to do something despite failing, not mocking someone for that failure.

I recomend trying to recite the Bible yourself. More importantly, try applying it to your own life. As Christ said, if you do the doctrine, you will know for yourself whether it's from the Father or not.
