    Is completely wrong.

    According to cbsnews:

This is not true. Moscow is located in the extreme Western part of Russia, which is 6700 miles long. If Putin were to "rear his head" and come into the air space of the united States of America, it would likely be to visit Washington for meetings with US Government members or into New York to visit the UN. Putin is based out of Moscow, which is only a few hundred miles from Europe. In fact, Moscow is only 1500 miles from London and about 4500 miles from Moscow to New York. That is equal distance from Moscow to Alaska. If Putin were to visit the United States and fly over Alaska, he would then have to fly an additional 4000 miles or so to travel to new york or washington.

    Never is my bet.

I can't see why someone would fly from Moscow, over siberia to alaska, and then down to New York or DC. It doesn't make a damn bit of sense.

But, then, she's one of those flat-earth, creationist christians. So maybe she doesn't understand global circum-navigation.

You do realize that Alaska is 60 miles from Russia, right?

That's not much farther that Baltimore is from Washington.

You do realize that they share a border?

You understand that if Russia were to ATTACK the United States, they would start with Alaska?

Hence "As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where do they go? It's Alaska."

Why do you think there are 3 major Army bases AND 3 major Air Force bases up there in the land of the midnight sun.

More "Total Crap" from the left. :eusa_naughty:

I reckon CBS should have saved some room in their budget for a MAP.

"Palin: We have trade missions back and forth, we do. It's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia."

What trade? Do they sail over for a loaf of bread or some Levi's?
US trade with Russia would be handled at federal not state level.

I'd love to explore Siberia. I wonder if they have trails for my Jazzy Chair.
