Is completely wrong. According to cbsnews: This is not true. Moscow is located in the extreme Western part of Russia, which is 6700 miles long. If Putin were to "rear his head" and come into the air space of the united States of America, it would likely be to visit Washington for meetings with US Government members or into New York to visit the UN. Putin is based out of Moscow, which is only a few hundred miles from Europe. In fact, Moscow is only 1500 miles from London and about 4500 miles from Moscow to New York. That is equal distance from Moscow to Alaska. If Putin were to visit the United States and fly over Alaska, he would then have to fly an additional 4000 miles or so to travel to new york or washington.
