This has been about Arab Muslim intolerance and hatred of others from the very beginning.

Yeah, and that's why Palestinians are eating their own shit over security cameras and metal detectors. Because they aren't hiding anything and have no bad intentions, right, Achmed?

Let us compare security at the Temple Mount and security at Islams' Mecca's holiest site.

Both have security guards. Both are armed. Both respond when there is an attack.

Well....

Saudis foil attack on Grand Mosque in Mecca - CNN.com

Saudi security forces on Friday prevented an imminent attack on the Grand Mosque in Mecca, the country's Interior Ministry said on state-run TV.

A suspect in the planned attack on the mosque blew himself up in a nearby neighborhood when security forces surrounded a home where the man was hiding, according to the ministry.

The suspect refused to comply with demands to surrender, opened fire on security forces and then killed himself, officials said.

While I am not adverse to the security measures, there is a big difference. The area is being policed by an occupation force of a hostile religion. There are sensibilities that should be taken into consideration. There are, for example, stand-off systems that can accurately determine if persons are carrying weapons or explosives.

Antisemite's response: Muslims attacked their own holiest site because of the Jews.

Not the Israeli's fault Muslims did not honor the terms of the Status Quo.

Now they refuse to face the music of their own actions. Too bad, and too fucking late. It's always like this, they always start the shit, and then whine when they have to face the consequences.

[Security guards? Guns at holy sites? Not with Islam....!!!]

The attack near the Prophet's Mosque in the Saudi Arabian city of Medina — the second holiest site in Islam — took place around sunset. The bomber reportedly sat with security guards as they were preparing to break their fast for Ramadan. Then he detonated his explosives, killing himself and the four security officers.

Thousands of people were gathered nearby to pray when the attack took place on Monday. Video on social media shows stunned worshipers taking out their cellphones to film the dark clouds of smoke that rose in the air from the explosion.

[Three suicide attacks in Saudi Arabia extend global wave of bombings and a bloody week]

According to Saudi Arabia's Interior Ministry, four security officers were killed and five others wounded in the attack. It was the third such attack in Saudi Arabia that day. The others targeted a U.S. consulate and a mosque in a city where many of Saudi Arabia's Shiite minority residents live, but the attacker in Medina chose to detonate his explosives strikingly close to the 7th century mosque where the Islamic prophet Muhammad is buried. That particular suicide attack struck a sensitive chord with Muslims around the world because of the religious significance of the site to both Sunnis and Shiites.

No. No. No. No. No. No.

There is absolutely no freaking difference between being murdered at the Temple Mount and being murdered at Mecca, or the Vatican, or at a mosque in Kuwait, or at St. Paul's Cathedral or any other of a hundred different places where murderous people commit their vile actions.

There is no difference between needing to protect people on the Temple Mount and needing to protect people at Mecca or the Vatican or a mosque in Kuwait or at St. Paul's Cathedral. The moral precepts are exactly the same. The security measures should be the same.

Trying to differentiate them because HORROR! Jooooooos! is abhorrent. In fact, if nothing else, the contentious nature of the site should demand MORE security rather than less.

And the Jewish people have clearly demonstrated, in their past fifty years of rightful sovereignty over the Temple Mount that they are both willing and capable of NOT being hostile towards Muslims, but indeed will step aside to make way for them, even sacrifice for them. While Muslims have demonstrated their open hostility towards Jews.

There is a big difference when a hostile occupying power, hostile to the religion of the holy site, is controlling the access to the holy site. The security needs to be handled with much more delicacy. As stated, there are less intrusive ways to provide security.

Bullshit. There is no difference. If security is needed, security is needed. Its just a freaking metal detector. Walk through it. It affects your religious freedom not one iota. There is no need for delicacy. There is a need to protect people from dying.

And if there are "less intrusive" ways of providing security, Israel should consider them, as soon as Mecca, and the Vatican, etc, etc, change up to those less intrusive ways. Meantime, its a clear, easy, effective, functional system. Why not use it?

And Israel has displayed absolutely NO hostility to the religion of holy site (WHICH BTW WAY IS AT LEAST AS MUCH JEWISH AS IT IS MUSLIM!) In fact, it is the opposite. Israel has deliberately negated its own rights to religious freedom in order to placate the Muslims.

Of course Israel has displayed hostility to the religion of the holy site, they are constantly threatening to take it over.
