Why a Palestinian State Will Become a Source of Instability

This is precisely what Egypt and the Arab counties want: to turn the Gaza Strip into an Israeli, and not an Arab, problem.

There is good reason to believe that the Arabs are not going to change their attitudes toward the Palestinians once a Palestinian state is established. The future Palestinian state will have to continue relying on Israeli and Western aid in order to survive.

And if Israel and the West do not come to their assistance, the Palestinians will find themselves begging at the doorsteps of Iran, the Muslim Brotherhood and the Islamic State. Then, the Palestinian state will be anything but a source of stability in the Middle East.

What are you worried about. There will never be a Palestinian state. Israel will not allow one to be established.

No. It could have happened, but the actions of the Palestinians of late have pretty much closed that door.

But of course, that is all the fault of the Israelis and the Jews, right?

It is always the fault of the negotiating party with the power.

Not so.

Of course it is. The party with the party is the only one that can negotiate. Try buying a car from a dealer.

You've never walked out of a car deal because you thought you weren't getting the deal you wanted?

That's YOUR lack of experience talking.

Your judgement is unreliable.

Go home and watch martial arts movies.

The party with the party PARTAYS!!!!

I always buy from a dealer, and always pay invoice.

Period.

They get rebates for every vehicle they sell, anything over invoice is profit.

I bet you never bought a new vehicle in your life.

And, you would be wrong. Just one of my vehicles costs more than all the vehicles you will buy in a lifetime.

OMG! A Palestinian State would mean self determination for Palestinians without having Israel to provide for them any longer. And the Pali's & their supporters actually believe the Palestinians are bad off now because of Israel. It's called Palestinian mentality.

Only stupid, foolish people continue pissing into the wind, once they know which way the wind is blowing.

The winds have been blowing in favor of Israel since 1948-1949... after the Jews outsmarted and out-fought the Arab Colossus that had been arrayed against them.

A two-state solution was probably still viable right up to the opening of the Six Day War of 1967.

After that... and certainly after Intifada I and II, and Gaza War I and II, the two-state solution is now as dead as Julius Caesar...

Although the Jews had some (delusional? and) flagging hope of such a solution right up to the dawn of Intifada II, I believe.

After that, not a snowball's chance in Hell.

A two-state solution is now dead, and has been for a while now.

The Palestinians had a thousand-and-one chances to cut a deal that (1) acknowledged new realities while (2) still giving them a decent-sized piece of what they'd originally wanted.

But... no... they kept pissing into the wind... stridently insisting on an all-or-nothing solution... until, finally, they lost it all.

That, metaphorically speaking in this context here, is called 'pissing into the wind' - when you abandon pragmatism in the face of overwhelming and permanent new realities.

In the end, once you've vented, you're left with nothing, but wet, stinking pants-legs.

Which is all the Losing Side - the Palestinians - have managed to walk away with, in this 66-year-long farce of a national movement.

The more sane amongst them should now be making arrangements to quietly slip their families out of that hell-hole and to head for other places that will take them in and that will encourage them to stay and to build better lives and a future for their families, in a place that will actually welcome them, rather than fencing them in like mad dogs in a kennel.

But that might be a little tricky... finding places willing to take them in, at least in large groups.

It's understandable that the Israelis would wall-off their mortal enemies who are committed to killing them, but it's also highly revealing that the Egyptians and Jordanians do the same thing, holding their Palestinian co-religionists at arm's length, like the mad dogs they are.

Still, families that still have two shekels to rub-together and a lick of common sense, should probably be leaving Gaza and the West Bank for greener pastures, whenever they can.

The sad End-Result or Outcome of 66 years of Idiotic Palestinian pissing into the wind... the damned fools.
