And yet another train has derailed on Ohio. This time it was 20 cars of a 212-car train.

Luckily, they haven't set it on fire yet.

"SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) — A Norfolk Southern train derailed in Clark County on Saturday, prompting Clark County officials to ask residents to shelter in place out of an abundance of caution.

“The Clark County Emergency Management Agency is asking residents within 1,000 feet of a train derailment at Ohio 41 near the Prime Ohio Business Park to shelter-in-place out of an abundance of caution,” a post by the county reads on Facebook. “We ask that all residents in need of travel to Ohio 41 find alternate routes. Local and state officials are on scene, including the Springfield Fire Rescue Division and the Springfield Police Department.”

According to a spokesperson for Norfolk Southern, approximately 20 cars of a 212-car train derailed while traveling south through Springfield. The company said no one was injured in the derailment and that no hazardous materials were involved."

Happens when government deregulation allows companies to ignore safety checks and set their own rules.
Oh look, another NS train derails. Hmmmm..nah..no safety regs ignored here...right?

Citizens of Ohio, especialy from Palestine, are going to have train detailment PTSD ... not to mention a dozen different types of cancer, birth defects, etc....

:shok:

Never understood how trains haven't been updated in the hundreds of years they've been in existence.

Cars, planes, rockets.........shit, even bicycles have been updated with current tech.
Trains? Nope. Aside from going from steam to diesel.............nothing has changed.

Trains that have a center rail and are curved to fit the structure they are on are a hellofa lot safer than the ancient things still used today.
NO derailments with THIS kind of train!!!!

There are also trains without any kind of rail at all. They follow a certain pattern on the road, or they follow
censors inbedded in the road. No rails, no derailment. Pulling up the rails and laying down a rail pathway would also
be something a bit more safer and up to date.

Police departments learned how to communicate with each other decades ago regarding serial killers. Is it possible that federal agencies don't talk to each other? Too many derailments to classify it as negligence. Consider attacks on the electrical grid and it seems that there might be a amateur or professional anarchy group at work.

Have you wanted Pete for a long time?

Meh, derailments happen.....Didn't you have a train set as a kid? ;)
Yeah. And my ignoring of safety regs were on purpose. Cause I wanted it to crash. :)
However, I don't remember my parents giving me any cars filled with polyvinyl chloride or any other hazardous material...or even any live human beings on the train.
We were free to recreate the trainwreck scene from "The Fugitive" (two decades before the movie was released) as many times as we wanted to.

They want to kill us all.

I mean it.....the poisoning over there is terrible!

Are they doing this on purpose? Probably
