Wow. The spelling and slaughter of the English language sure did not help our right wing cause.

But yes. Obama has never liked American exceptionalism. And he intends to stop it.

Depends on what you mean by "exceptionalism".

Liberals tend to take it to mean:

- We are "exceptional" because we are a nation of immigrants, where an immigrant can arrive, and become a real American. One that can become fully vested into the system and become as successful as that persons drive, imagination and determination allows that person to be.

-We are "exceptional" because we are a nation of laws. That for the most part, corruption isn't tolerated and we can expect our system of justice to be fair, balanced and objective.

-We are "exceptional" because we are a nation of individual freedom and liberty. And that we are able to question our government when we percieve injustice. And our press acts as a watchdog to power.

Conservatives tend to take it to mean:

-We are "exceptional" because we have the most powerful military in the world. What we say..goes.

-We are "exceptional" because we can do things that we would condemn other countries for doing. Like invading and conquering another nation.

-We are "exceptional" because we have the richest people in the world. And the private sector thrives on unbridled greed and corruption.

Those are the differences.

Being dishonest here aren't you??? We have a system where immigrants can arrive and become part of the nation don't we? What you're really saying is you favor ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

Except you don't follow the laws.. ESPECIALLY when it comes to ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION

When he talked about "redistributing the wealth", he meant internationally. We cannot bring the rest of the world up to our level, so we must drop down to theirs. That is the liberal way.
