We are going to hear the race card forever if Obama loses this election. It will be even worse if the race is as close as it looks it will be. If Obama wins the popular vote, but loses the electoral vote, look out.
I actually see that being the case. I think he'll win big in states like California and New York, while McCain will squeak out wins in most of the swing states. Look for Obama to win the general by half a million or so, but lose the electorate by 2 or 10 votes. I see the electorate going the way this map shows: RealClearPolitics - Electoral Map except McCain will pull in New Mexico or Colorado.
Basically, McCain will carry the same states Bush did in 2000, except New Hampshire.
And we can prove it...even if we have to make shit up:

I'm a republican jsanders and NY and CA are a given for the democrats. However, I am going to have to disagree with you on New Mexico, I'm pretty sure that Obama will most likely take that. However, Co. is pretty close and this time around a few blue states are in play as well. I see this election being every bit as close as 2000. Although, something tells me electorial college wise it's going to end up being a lot like 04.

I heard rumors that Obama wants to be sworn in with the Koran if he wins. Hola crap i hope this isnt true, if it were true it'd be like offering up a swine for sacrifice on the alter of the jewish tabernacle, it'd be an Obamanation lol. Sacrilegious to say the least, i'd dare to say USA would be at a civil war before the middle of Obama's first term or worse.....Abomination of Desolation kinda spooky...Now i know ya laughing and joking and i dont expect many if any in these forums to understand what im saying, but to the better than 60% of USA population that beleive in GOD and his only begotten son Jesus the Christ, this would be the heart break and insult of the ages, ecspecially when the USA was the last frontier for Christendom and Western Civilization as this would put our backs against the wall. I dont much care for McCain either but i'd sleep a lot better at night knowing he was sworn in on what i beleive, as well as my forefathers that came from Scotland. I dont know i just hope the rumors are lies and fabrications cause if it ant and Obama wins, folks i got a bad feeling, ecspecially with all the hype of the 2012 apocalypse...My vote's will be for McCain sadly to say, "the lessor of the 2 evils" what a hell of a choice sad.......
You can still get 48% and recieve the popular vote! There are other canidates besides Obama and McCain that take pieces from the pie.I don't see Obama winning the popular vote either. He can't get above 48% in any poll, even pollsters admit the current market turmoil has temporarily boosted his numbers. And he still can't break that 48%.. If he can't convince the fence sitters by now -what is it they are waiting to hear? And worst of all for him, a lot of those fence sitters are in his own party and far fewer who are Republicans. Its a pretty easy choice for most Republicans, whether liberal, moderate or conservative. Either vote for a liberal Republican or vote for an ultra leftwing extremist Democrat holding out Carter's failed policies. Moderate and conservative Democrats are the ones between a rock and a hard place here. Obama's leftwing extremist positions don't leave much wiggle room for them, many of whom will feel more comfortable with McCain's positions than the ultra-leftwing branch running rampant in the Democrat party right now.

So if he gets 48% and McCain gets say 42% and the other canidates make up the other 10% who wins the popular vote! I get what you are saying and I know all about the electoral college don't worry!Technically, to "win" the popular vote you need > 50%.
Likewise, if one of the third party candidates wins a state (won't happen anytime soon), it could really fuck up the electoral college. This year candidates need 270 votes, and they could already tie at 269 each (which, looking at the map, isn't THAT unlikely). If that's the case, unfortunately Obama would win because the House would then select the President.
I'm not voting for Obama because of racial reasons. I'm not voting for him because he's a blundering idiot who has no business being in the WH.
So what you libs are saying is: when people reject L'il 'O it WON'T be over race because America is past the whole racism thing.
Right?
So what's your take on the 95% of the black community refusing to vote for McCain? The only ones that I have heard say that "Only Racists Refuse to Vote for Obama" are some of the liars on the right trying to put those words in the mouth of lefties.
The real statement is that there are racists in America who will not vote for Obama simply because he is half black.
Please refute that statement.
