I'd hardly call the Clinton's a rich white Southern political dynasty out of Arkansas. Slick Willie is from a poor Arkansas family that came under considerable scrutiny as to character. Hillary is from Illinois. But Arkansas was a good starting place. All I needed to hear at the first Clinton run for the Presidency from a long-time Arkansas journalist of some stature was "Slick Willlie" and I thought "oh-oh." The old "Dixiecrats" of the South are long gone ... actually, the whole Democrat party of yore is gone.
