Oh OH- I guess Palin's Political career isn't OVER after all.

GO PALIN GO! She is the ticket for a second Obama term. Between her and Bachmann, the GOP is totally screwed. Can you say Christine O'Donnell?

Christine O'Donnell was actually quite knowledgeable. A little silly, but at least she is well-read.

Really? She could have fooled me with the whole "no such thing as the separation of church & state" debacle.

I missed that. She seemed to be more aware of current issues is how I should have clarified that.

Palin Outraises Romney, Rivals

Share Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin led her potential rivals for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination in end-of-the-year fundraising, nosing ahead of her closest competitor, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney.
Both Palin and Romney filed impressive year-end fundraising reports, due Monday at the Federal Election Commission. From Nov. 23 and Dec. 31, Palin's Sarah PAC hauled in $279,000. She finished the year with $1.3 million in her campaign account.

Palin's total is particularly striking because she outraised Romney using only a federal political action committee. Romney's series of state level PACs set up in Alabama, Iowa, Michigan, New Hampshire and South Carolina, detailed in a New York Times report last year, allows big donors to max out both to Romney's federal committee, the Free and Strong America PAC, and to his state organizations, which often have higher contribution limits.

That state network helped Romney outraise Palin in the previous reporting period, which covered mid-October to the end of November. He wasn't as fortunate in the final reporting period of the year. In the last five weeks of 2010, Romney's federal PAC raised almost $175,000 and his state PACs hauled in $36,000, bringing his total haul to almost $211,000 -- less than Palin's take for the same period.

Even so, Romney started out 2011 with more cash on hand than Palin. He has more than $1.44 million in his state and federal campaign coffers. Romney also outraised Palin for all of 2010, hauling in $6.3 million to Palin's $3.6 million.

Palin's fundraising success suggests that her unorthodox political strategy
-- appearances on Fox News, occasional posts on her Facebook page and Twitter accounts -- has cultivated a dedicated network of contributors.

CNN Poll: Palin unfavorable rating at all time high
January 19th, 2011

Washington (CNN) - A new national poll indicates that 56% of all Americans have an unfavorable view of Sarah Palin, an all-time high for the former Alaska governor. That 56% unfavorable figure is up 7% from just before the midterm elections, according to a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll released Wednesday morning.

..... According to the survey, Palin's unfavorable rating is up 10% among women, compared to just 3% among men, and among independent voters, her unfavorable rating has grown a whopping 14%.
What "Stephanie" conveniently failed to mention was Pailin's standing in the current national polls. Raising money from the conservative faithful is one thing - attracting the votes of the moderate center/independents/women is quite another!

why the hell should I have mentioned that. Nobody has said she is running for anything.
And if you are going to post a poll, could you find one that has some credibility.
"Stephanie" is carrying on in the Bachmann/O'Donnell/Palin tradition, conservatives who are unable or incapable of presenting a logical argument - in this case an OP contradicting herself in her own thread.

In post 1, she makes reference to Palin's "rivals," "fundraising," "campaign account," "campaign coffers," "a dedicated network of contributors," "her unorthodox political strategy," "potential rivals for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination" and "year-end fundraising reports, due Monday at the Federal Election Commission."

In post 345, when confronted by Palin's current "unfavorable ratings" in a national poll, "Stephanie's" response was "why the hell should I have mentioned that. Nobody has said she is running for anything. ....."

If Palin doesn't intend to run in 2012 as the GOP Presidential Nominee, why does she have rivals, need a political strategy, cultivate a dedicated network of contributors, need a campaign account or is making year-end fundraising reports at the Federal Election Commission.

If she is just fundraising for the GOP with no ulterior motive, why is this money being placed in her account - instead of Republican Party coffers? Is any public citizen, who doesn't intend to run for political office, allowed to engage in fundraising and then keep the proceeds in "her campaign account?" (Stephanie's choice of words, not mine)

Why did she resign as the Governor of Alaska - was it to spend more time with her family, provide moral guidance/support for Bristol OR to release Palin to spend more time to promote her political career in the "public eye" (2010 GOP/Tea Party campaigning, appearances with Glenn Beck, FOXNEWS, putting selected Democratic politicians in the infamous "cross-hairs" of her scope)?

This is what we've come to expect when you allow conservatives, like "Stephanie," in the DEEP END of the "political pool"!

Conservative Forum Strategy 101

1. put liberals on the defensive by throwing out "accusations" that have no basis in fact - the more outrageous the better

2. sit back and watch the liberals scurrying around trying to refute them

3. dispute and question the validity of any data source liberal's cite

4 make no attempt to provide liberals with reliable sources or references

5. don't bother reading liberal responses - responding to facts is a "fools'" game for liberals

6. repeat the same argument over and over again (researching and debating are not conservative strong points)

7. before the liberals totally "debunk" the original thread, conservatives should post another thread(s) thereby starting the whole process all over again

5. "flooding" the forum with "right-wing" threads is the easiest way of setting the agenda

6. liberals will always look for signs of "intelligent life" in conservative threads - where none

I appreciate you caring enough to post a reply showing that you do not care. Odd of you, but I appreciate the effort you made.

my gawd, YAWN YAWN YAWN:eusa_whistle:

Another ass kicking for you, Steph.

Shhhh...she's showing how much she doesn't care by posting again and again about how she doesn't care....(of course, it's her thread....maybe she's embarassed by the beating she is taking....or maybe she doesn't care about the beating she's been taking and will let us know that she doesn't care)

I see you posting replies, do I not? How odd that you would post so much if you don't care. How very odd.

yawn:eusa_whistle:

Maybe if you weren't up all night obsessing on Sarah Palin you wouldn't be so tired.

Actually, I'm guessing she was up all night obsessing about those who she says are obsessing about Palin so she decided to start a thread showing how much she doesn't care about the obsession of those she obsesses about.
