Couple of points of interest to long haul truckers:

1) Illegals stowing away in outside accessible areas of trucks, trailers and RV's. Border Patrol advises drivers will be charged regardless of prior knowledge...

2) Chicago criminals set up fake construction roadblocks and rob drivers who exit vehicles...

"CHICAGO, March 31 (UPI) -- Chicago police said at least two motorists have been robbed in the Fuller Park neighborhood by thieves using fake roadblocks to get people to exit their cars.

Police said the suspects used a legitimate construction site near a police station in the Fuller Park neighborhood to mask their ruse. They said the robbers used a construction barrel to block the only open lane of traffic.

Investigators said the robbers, described as a group of three or four men, then waited for motorists to get out of their cars to move the barrels. The men assaulted the victims and robbed them, police said."

I had heard about the chicago thugs setting up ambushes....one can only hope they run into one of the newly minted concealed carry permit holders....that should help adjust their attitudes......cause a gun is a great equalizer against 3-4 men who just want cash...and to not get shot.....
