For the libs who won't read the link:
In 2005, the number of avian flu cases was at 98 and deaths at 43. Obama and the Dems were spreading doom and gloom predictions of a major epidemic in the U.S. though it never came to be. There were no confirmed cases of avian flu in the U.S. Someone did something right.
Now we have Ebola cases, which are out of control with over a million cases and death rates that doubled between June and July. As of July, the death toll in just three countries was 603. It's way higher now since the disease has only continued to spread and more people have died. Now we have a confirmed case in our country. At least 100 people have been potentially exposed, but that is always how these things start.
While Obama slammed Bush for not doing more to prevent avian flu from spreading, he is doing less in this case despite Ebola being a far greater threat. He eliminated tougher quarantine rules in the past and doesn't think now is a good time to reinstate them.
Beheadings, Ebola, ISIS members in the U.S. What will it take to get Obama's mind off golf and on our safety?

Ebola is not swine flu. Ebola has almost zero potential to spread in the U.S. Calm down.
We already have a case here, which is more than you could say for the swine flu. And at least 100 people under watch because they've been exposed. With 10,000 a day traveling from the Ebola hot zones, the risk becomes bigger.
If you look at the numbers, Ebola has spread far quicker than swine flu. The numbers don't lie.
It's crazy to be so loyal to a party that you only believe whatever they tell you.
Look at the facts and ask if we should be more prepared. Why doesn't Obama reinstate the CDC rule of quarantining people who are contagious? You don't think it's necessary to bother containing this?

Ebola and swine flu are not the same. Stop trying to compare them. You are being hysterical. 0 experts are panicking about Ebola in the U.S.

Hmm, yet they rush doctors back to the states when they catch it and everyone around them wears hazmat suits. Are you saying they are overreacting?

there is nothing to panic over and this isnt the same thing. Go be a bigot about muslims.
Libtads don't want to panick because it would look bad for butthurt in chief.Well, anyone watching the news knows that Ebola has spread rapidly and more people died from this than the swine flu. I am not convinced that we shouldn't be concerned. With any illness or disease, young people, elderly people and those with compromised immune systems are at high risk. Too many have died from Ebola, so it's not some harmless little bug.
If Obama was trying to pass Obamacare now, he'd have declared a crisis long before now, much like he did with swine flu. But, since Obama lifted quarantine rules and is not concerned, the little Obamabots will repeat talking points.
On the news, I see a plane that landed in Newark, NJ, from abroad is being held on the ground until a sick passenger can be tested. Also, the Ebola patient in Texas is now in critical condition.
While I am glad that they are checking those who come down with symptoms, I still wonder when Obama will reinstate the quarantine rules.
Again, Ebola has infected and killed way more people than swine flu did, yet Obama followers are still being told to claim it's no big deal. Liberals aren't fond of statistics most of the time.
