Obama's failures as President

The DNC Convention will be the funniest thing on television that week, as Debbie Wasserman Bagelhead will make a speech about how the economy has bounced back and the nation as a whole is so much richer, so many Americans have paid their credit cards off, sent their kids to college, Obama bringing the deficit down to 0.00 dollars !!!! I can't wait !!!
Here's a quick (humor) "fix", for you!!

"More than a dozen News Corp. reporters and editors in London were arrested. Several top executives resigned. Murdoch and his son James, the company’s deputy chief operating officer, faced heated questioning in Parliament. Prime Minister David Cameron scrambled to distance himself from the Murdochs. The company’s stock price tumbled.

Along the way, the Murdochs found themselves fending off attacks from former employees, angry shareholders, and a pie-wielding protester. The threat to the company has hardly subsided. As 2011 drew to a close, police in Scotland Yard were still gathering evidence of alleged newsroom wrongdoing. Myriad victims of the alleged phone hacking were seeking compensatory damages from News Corp. James Murdoch was bobbing and weaving, trying to defend his earlier false claims that the phone hacking misconduct had been largely limited to the deeds of a rogue reporter. And Lord Justice Brian Leveson, a former prosecutor, was leading an extensive public inquiry."

So far, JosefK and TakeAStepBack are the only ones to actually mention real Obama failures. All the rest of you are just spouting rhetoric or calling things "failures" that were inevitable, like the increased budget deficits. (We always have those in economic downturns. We always have them in wars, too.)

Obama has certainly been a disappointment to me, but trust the deluded talk-radio kool-aid drinkers to fail to even recognize any of his real failures, while denouncing him just the same, because it's what their programmers tell them to do. Like wind-up mechanisms, push the buttons and they spout bile.

putting Mr. shaman on ignore, saves your finger from a lot of scrolling..

When Bush was President, the Average American with skills could find a job. So is that the case today?

January 13, 2008

"The recession-deniers were muzzled by a horrendous last two weeks of December, and the gloom-and-doomers are now out in force. Their key arguments:

* Plummeting housing will now drag down the rest of the economy.

*The "bad debt" problem is not just "sub-prime" folks who should never have have taken out mortgages in the first place. It includes credit card debt, "high quality" mortgages, car loans, and other leverage that have recently become a consumer way of life.

*Pressure on consumers is leading to a reduction in consumer spending (70% of economy), which, in turn, will lead to a reduction in spending by companies that sell stuff to consumers.

*The question now is not "will there be a recession?" but "how bad will it get?"

*The most optimistic forecasts in a NYT gloom-and-doom round-up are for three crappy quarters, regardless of what the Fed does. Less optimistic forecasts suggest that we are, well, screwed.

After blowing the last downturn, we've been worried this one since last summer (see below). We also suspect that, given the importance of housing to the economy and debt to consumer spending, the recession will be deeper and more prolonged than people think."

.....And, even OBAMA couldn't fuck-things-up, as badly as The IDIOT SON!!!!!

This will start us off. Feel free to add your list of Obama failures.

A Chronicle Of Obama’s Failures

Compared to President Bush, President Obama’s annual budget deficit is 7.5 percentage points worse on average. Under Obama, average monthly unemployment is 4.1 percentage points higher than unemployment under President Bush. Average monthly housing starts are 66% lower under Obama. Average annual food stamp participation has increased 63% from 22.7 million to 37.0 million. In January 2001, when President Bush took office, the monthly participation rate was 17.2 million. By January 2011, food stamp particpation reached a high of 44.2 million under President Obama.

President Obama, the first American President to win a Nobel Peace Prize for “hope” rather than any substantive accomplishments, also added another conflict to the two he inherited from his predecessor.

Under President Obama, daily crude oil prices have been 41% higher on average and the average weekly retail gasoline price has been 25% higher than prices during the Bush administration.

He failed to pursue criminal charges against members of the Bush administration, just no excuse for that one.

He failed to close Gitmo, that's a big one for me.

I also don't like that he simply altered the erroneously named Patriot Act instead of scratching it all together.

I suppose his biggest failure to me is his inability to stand up to the pressure of the Republicans. He hasn't been the protector of the middle class that he promised to be.

If The Dem's claim it was all Bush's fault, does that mean Bush helped produce the Dodd Frank Bill? Bush was the one who told America on National TV that they can go ahead and buy a $250,000 home making $35,000 a year? I would love to see the video tape of that press confernece.

Hands down Obama's biggest failure was his decision to tackle health care reform before dealing with the economy and rampant unemployment. For the millions of Americans who have burned their life's savings while trying to find work as Barack, Nancy and Harry used their majorities in the House and Senate to pass one of the worst pieces of legislation ever seen in this country...this Administration has done more damage than anyone could even imagine.

You'll never convince the rabid left of this.
.....Especially when you can't come-up with any (actual) examples.

Run along.......

So all that footage of long lines stretching around government buildings (unemployment lines) that we saw in late 2009 going into 2010 didn't happen under Obama's watch? was it Joe Biden's fault?
As usual.......Obama kicks-your-ass.......

Well, all we need to do is ask two questions:

Do you feel "Change?"

Do you have more "Hope?"

Unhappily, I feel changed for the worse, and I'm hoping for something better in 2013.

When he was elected, it was Obama's supporters who had "hope" for "change." After three years of his economy, now we all "beg" for "change"......

When Bush was President, Food costs were much lower !!! just go to Wal Mart or Publix (the main Florida Grocer} I can't believe sugar is around $3.00 a bag !!! Bush's Fault?
In 1969, my Wife & I could get 3 bags o' groceries for $15.

What's your point, Skippy?

a great campaign ad Romney should do is ask America, how much was your home worth in 2008, and how much is it worth today, 4 years later? {like do the commercial next summer}
Stay away from subjects you know nothing, about, Skippy.

You (already) sound clueless-enough.
