.....trying to work with the Republicans in Congress.

They are only interested in regaining power, not helping America.

The republicans are not going to accept compromise on any issue. They are there to obstruct and try to convince Americans that Obama is a Socialist.
Their strategy of doing nothing and hoping Obama will fail is going to backfire. They were wrong on the economy, they are wrong on healthcare, they are wrong on foreign policy.

All this posturing and fear mongering will come back to bite them once their projections of impending doom prove to be false

You sound just like a neocon from 4 years ago.

Bush's biggest mistake....
.....trying to work with the Democrats in Congress.

They are only interested in regaining power, not helping America.

This is the song that doesn't end,
Yes, it goes on and on, my friend.
Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was,
and they'll continue singing it forever just because...

Obama's Biggest Mistake...

1. Thinking "Hope" and "Change" substituted for Leadership skills

2. Joe Biden

The concept of negotiating means that "If we put what you want in the bill....you will vote for it"
Whatever the Democrats put in the healthcare bill, the republicans will vote against it. They did it on the stimulus bill and they will do it on the healthcare bill

As George Bush said:

Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice...um....um.......won't be fooled again

Obama's biggest mistake....

Thinking he could take this country down the path of marxism/socialism/communism (call it what you will it's govt taking over and running the show) without one hell of a fight.

Jones is gone, the rest of the czars need to go. This has nothing to do w/Dems and Repubs . . . . but you refuse to see that.

Obama's biggest mistake was not being upfront and honest about himself in the first place. Some of us knew beforehand...and now the nightmare of the Statist is coming to fruition.

He will take the Democratic Party down with him.

that is Wright he should never ever again try to work with Republicans. Write him a letter. Tell him. Urge him. Never try to work with Republicans again. :clap2:

Indeed. This is about this Country and what the Founders bethrothed, entrusted to succeeding generations.

Of course the Statists are so full of hubris, so full of arrogance that they think they can shove this Statist bullsqueeze down our throats without a fight.

When has Obama ever worked with Republicans in any meaningful way? He's never been interested in bipartisanship. The problems are coming from his own party.

Anytime I hear the word "Bipartisanship" it makes me wretch. In Statistspeak? It means OUR WAY or the highway. Only simplistic minds blindly belive such things without checking out the intent from the mouths of those that use the term.

And that means looking into the records of the Statist politicians that speak this nonsense as to their true intent. And their intent is their power over the rest of us.

When has Obama tried to work with Republicans? And keep in mind Arlen Specter doesnt count.

When President Bush attempted to "work" with the liberal Democratics in Congress, they took took took and then took some more, and they ALWAYS repaid him with a slap in the face.

Dems are like spoiled kids. They are incapable of working with anybody and this is never as true as when they have a significant majority.

At the moment, the idiot liberoidal Democratics infesting Congress have no desire to work with anybody in the GOP.

Slightly to his CREDIT, President Obama is smart enough to want to TRY to get the GOP (or a significant portion of the GOP) on board whatever crap he plans to cram through Congress so that -- someday down the road -- he can point his finger at them and say that THEY have no right to criticize the legislation they at least partly supported. He may be transparent, but he's not entirely stupid in the political sense of such things.

No.

The true mistake of President Obama is that he is a product of his own background through which he filters and assesses EVERYTHING. His politics and policy preferences are an abomination. If he would take a moment to at least give SOME honest thought to the words of caution offered by the opposition, he might be capable of keeping his enormous hubris in check long enough to apply some brakes. But that's not gonna happen.

He is a thoroughly arrogant indoctrinated "liberal" (actually more of a Marxist) and he will not abide -- much less give any thought to -- contrary advice or warnings. He remains a national disaster.

The right wing nuts here are amazingly lame.

Obama is not a Marxist or a socialist, and every other Western democracy in the world has national health insurance.

Why do you lie?

Your lies have no power here asshopper.

Obama is indeed a Marxist.

And we have long had a history of not having things other nations have. That doesn't make us worse or better, always. It does make us different.

Why don't you stop lying?

Obama's biggest mistake was believing his own press and not following his own advice...

And they don't have a Constitution either. Under what auspices do the Politicians here think that they can foist the same failed Socialist bullsqueeze on us as there bretheren in Canada and the EU have?

Hint: The Documents limits what Government can do. Last time I looked, Healthcare wasn't mentioned anywhere.
