Obamacare sends health premiums skyrocketing by as much as 78 percent

The Affordable Care Act was supposed to make health care more affordable, but a newly releasedstudy
of insurance policies before and after Obamacare shows that average
premiums have skyrocketed, for some groups by as much as 78 percent.

Let me get this straight.....you mean to tell me that now that we're forced to buy what they are selling, these companies are running rough shod over us and increasing their prices at will to never before seen highs? Well gee, who would have seen that one coming?

We were always forced to buy what the insurance companies were selling. The difference now is that its less expensive and the benefits are better.

You're were not forced to buy anything.. until the ACA was passed that is.

There is a link in the original post. Then again, it appears you are a liberal, who still believes Obamacare saves families $2500 dollars.

You still think it is a resounding success, yet every fucking politician running for office running from the president and denying they supported the sham.

I wonder why, if it so successful and the lying squishpot morons who brag they vote for obama claim it is such a success, they are running from the notion of obamacare.

Any reasonable explanation, why if this sham is so successful, those running for office are getting away from obamacare?

Fucking liberals are such wastes of shit.

Anyone with a little common sense and the ability to do 8th grade math knew that Obama, Pelosi and Reid were selling them a line of bullshit about the true costs of the "Affordable Care Act" back in 2009.

I'm sorry, Kiddies...but you can't insure people with bad health and preexisting conditions at low rates and put millions of the poor who didn't have health insurance on Federal subsidies and not either have those costs be passed along to healthy Middle Classed people or have the national debt skyrocket. It's not rocket science...it's basic math.

No ... it's Socialism in action. Proof that it's a bad idea.

No we were not forced to buy health insurance. Premiums have increases, certainly not cheaper. Benefits are not better, and deductables are actually up for most.

Yup. My benefit costs are going up by 30% and its all because of the ACA.

Such a winner for the taxpayer who will have to pay for his own benefits and subsidize every swinging dick in the country who can't pay for his own insurance.

Such a fucking deal.

Good post and spot on.

Every taxpayer in the country will be paying more for their own health care plus paying for every person in the US who can't pay for themselves. As you said, the cost of those with pre existing conditions will be passed on to the healthy. Such a fucking deal.

Paying more, and getting a lot less. Such is the inevitable way of socialism. The know it all, arrogant cocksucking socialists on the left deny the facts, obfuscate from the truth, look for the next party and feign outrage over whatever hot button topic the democrats press in order to rally their retarded base.

Rinse and repeat.

They still believe in man made global warming and then claim conservatives have always denied there is climate change. Yes, to the morons on the left who cannot see how they are puppets of the socialist agenda cannot see they changed the terminology for political gain, claim MAN MADE global warming is the same thing as climate change.

I know, off topic a bit, but it really is relative in discussing how freaking moronic the left is.

Average
insurance premiums in the sought-after 23-year-old demographic rose
most dramatically, with men in that age group seeing an average 78.2
percent price increase before factoring in government
subsidies, and women having their premiums rise 44.9 percent, according
to a report by HealthPocket scheduled for release Wednesday.

I can remember paying 20 dollars a month for auto insurance before we were forced to buy it...

Pubs and their insurer cronies haven't allowed for health transparent competition yet in their states and areas. Even so, there's been NO INCREASE IN PREMIUMS when you take the subsidies into account. OP is typical WashTimes bs, for hater dupes only.

I pay $41 now. ZZZZZZZZZZZZ

What happened to all of the PERSONAL ANECDOTES that we used to have here at the USMB? There were dozens of nutters claiming that their premiums were going up by 300% and their deductibles were $20,000 per year.

I miss them.
