In fact, most Republicans want to get rid of SS and privatize it for their banking buddies.

"Conservatives" will never admit that they are happy about what is going on. The other day I posted the jobs report showing 39,000 lay offs from government jobs, which brings the total to a couple hundred thousand since Obama took office. None of them wanted to say they were happy with getting what they want. They instead just attacked and insulted.

I think they truly don't know what is going on.

you don't know what Republicans are feeling or saying, so stop PRETENDING YOU DO.

You scream and cry about cutting spending, cutting the size of government and not wanting to raise the debt ceiling. Well, spending is down, hundreds of thousands of government workers lost their jobs and it looks like the ceiling might not be raised.

If you're not happy about getting everything you want, then, damn, you need a new hobby or something cause that's jacked up.

Since Medicare health insurance is tied to social security, does that mean our contribution will not be paid and we will get a bill for each month Uncle Sugar fails to raise the debt limit? That would be $193 for the wife and I. 0r, will the health care industry refuse Medicare insurance and charge fee for service?

Fortunately, we are fairly healthy, just a couple of prescriptions for each of us, which my secondary insurance pays for anyway, but it's no more doctor visits or treatments unless it's life threatening and even then we may elect to board the comet as it swings by.

Funny how that works, politic ans drive us into this mess and then bash us trying to get us out.
