Looks like obama is the man of NO now

The White House has vowed to veto the short-term spending bill House Republicans will vote on this afternoon, taking away the safety net that could have given both sides another week to avert a government shutdown.

well, perhaps one shouldn't get their news from rev moon's propaganda site...

that said, maybe if the spoiled children of the tea party stopped tantruming and acted like adults, there'd be a deal. they came in to destroy the government and that's what they want to do...even if it's only symbolic and even if it's only for a few days.

and their government hating bretheran love them for it.

and that's all that counts, i'm sure.

thing is, if i were boehner, i'd be real worried about eric cantor. eric wants his job real real bad.

If the Democrats had passed a budget last year like they should have we would not be having this discussion at all. Tell me again why this is the Tea Party's fault.

Most people seem to be missing this part of the story.

The House bill would extend the shutdown deadline by another week, to April 15, while funding defense needs for the rest of this year so that troops’ paychecks would not be endangered by a shutdown.

This means that, if Obama vetoes this bill, he will be responsible for the troops not getting paid, not the Republicans.

SHUSH..... sheeple aren't supposed to know that.:eusa_whistle:

They've already passed 2 of these extensions. Obama told them before that he wouldn't consider signing a third one.

Nope, I think that these temporary measures are nothing but grandstanding politics by the GOP.

And yeah.....Boehner should look out, because Cantor does want his job, even though Cantor knows squat about how a bill becomes a law.

If the gov't shuts down, the GOP can expect a worse bloodbath in 2012 than the shellacking the Dems just took.

Oh yeah.......if you want to see what the result of the GOP's plans backfiring on them, just look at WI and the turnout they had to get rid of Walker's SC judge.

Abraham Lincoln, dedicated to the eradication of White People, still alive during his presidency: Is likely looking to spill in the Gulf Coast again--all that poison, watching the Tea Berskerkers try to fund Defense Contractors through September, but everyone else only--symbolically--to April 15.

No refund checks will be allowed to be sent, but the Mega-Corporations would otherwise get the Mega-billions of federal, wasted dollars, to keep the Moslems killing off the UN members even in Afghanistan, like the GOP intended, even under Bush.

As Defense Contractors all now know for certain: Somehow the fuel costs, are simply way too high!

"Crow, James Crow: Shaken, Not Stirred"
(Many Braves find that Trail of Tears leads mainly to home, where children get no milk or nececessities, now that fuel costs are high, with no income tax refund monies!)

obama will be saying no pay for the military with his veto, democrats do not care for the children of the military.

obama would piss on the troops if he thought he could get away with it, this is his one chance to hit them where it hurts them.

It isn't the Tea Party's fault, it is the dimwits fault 100%. They just need someone to blame instead of taking responsibility for their incompetence.

Yeah socialists stick together.

:lol::lol: Yeah, right. Obama's the man of NO, after he and Senate Dems agreed to the 33 billion that the GOP originally asked for. The GOP is now saying NO to Boehner's own proposal

Keep living in dreamland, folks. It's where you belong.

He said earlier this week he is tired of these short term fixes and wants the budget. The ball is in the republican's court and they want a shutdown.

With obams veto he will be saying NO to military family pay. I guess democrats don't care about those children

Cut 61 billion that we can't afford anyway and there won't be one.
