Of course he has an education. However, the way he pronounces foreign words does not speak to his education. He is a lawyer, not a linguist or a political scientist or anything to suggest that his pronunciations are knowledge-based and not pretentious.


I admit to having limited experience with middle eastern languages but I do have some experience with native speakers from my own time at university, and I have yet to see any evidence that his pronunciations are correct.

I would think that if his pronunciations were correct more of the specialists who do guest spots on PBS for instance would have adopted them. I cannot remember a single one who has.
